its just a shame that they pack the cows in the fields so densely that they all live in mud instead of in grassy fields.

Over populated fields == more puss and bacteria in the milk per litre.. not pleasant but you'd be hard pressed to tell by taste if it was milk on your cereal. Good quality cheese however cannot be made without good quality milk - it just tastes wrong.

we have dairy cows in Florida, one not too far from my home..... hell of a lot cheaper than buying the milk from the grocery whether its california or wisconsin, i mean no offense to either one.... but i prefer to support my local dairy :) and their products are mighty tasty if i do say so myself!!

Have you been on a dairy farm lately? Im pretty sure alot of them get really good treatment, and they are not beaten and tortured because that would taint the meat and produce less milk. slaughtering facilities have even come along way in how animals are treated before and during the process. and for the slow and painfull death, not likely considering animals are put down with gas so that there is no pain and suffering.
