  • This sounds badass. Also, what are some more good DH songs? I know Am I Evil, The Prince, and Lightning To The Nations but that's it

  • @Shanksftw Sucking My Love, It's Electric and To Heaven from Hell are also pretty awesome.

  • Alerting me to the remarkable similarities between this song and Seek And Destroy.

  • mick wall says this song inspired metallica's 'seek and destroy' "in no small measure" in his bio of the band. i think he got it wrong. diamond head's 'sucking my love' is definitely the inspiration for that song. they are MUCH more similar.

  • metallica actually use the intro riff for this and chamged it up and turned it into seek and destroy!

  • i like the four cuts version better than this version, more raw and aggressive

  • Brian tatler always dreamed of playing knebworth. And metallica made it happen for him and his band! A great gesture from the metallica boys.

  • If you could see my neighbor's scowled face's as I blare this to 120+db's

  • Yup, Hetfield says so in Guitar World

  • i read on wikipedia that seek and destroy was influenced by this song so thats why im here

  • @assman1245 same here

  • fuck ya bitches

  • This is fucking true pure metal!!!

  • anyone who has a problem with this metal need to take the cocks out of their fuckin ears

  • sick riff

  • I feel like all locomotives should be designed in the same fashion as the one in this video.

  • @Blueduckgorrilla3 That would be hilarious!

Vegans, liberals and other hippies would be pissed though; look at all that smoke.

  • @Blueduckgorrilla3 I subscribe the idea.

  • @mustafankamil1973 It's from the 80's.

  • @mustafankamil1973 You mean 80's, right? 'sides, the best thing about the 80's is the fact that the men looked like women, and the women were hot!

  • @sophienocakes, lol

  • @mustafankamil1973 butthurt detected.

  • @mustafankamil1973

Lol, sorry to get you out of your dreams, but these guys got more pussy with "looking like girls" then you will have in your entire live. and btw its from the 80's as crossbowman said, so...

    FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • FUCKIN LOOK AT THAT TRAIN!!! THATS FUCKIN MENTAL!!!!!!!!

  • The structure in Seek and Destroy is almost the same but the riffs IMO aren't similar at all.

  • intro like seek and destroy

  • STOP TALKIN BOUT HETFIELD!... listen to the song fellas :)

  • WTh? I just discovered this song. Oh snap my new favorite band.

  • I FUCKING LOVE THERE TONE AND AMBIANCE! THIS SONG AND STREETS OF GOLD ARE MY TRUE FAVORITES. I think they are very underrated.

  • I just heard this on Dee Snider's House of Hair Radio Show. AWESOME! Now I know why Metallica was so influenced by this band.

  • jjajajaja is SPINAL TAP.

  • dammit that is the sickest album cover in the history of earth. i want that shit as a tapestry or a shirt but i can't find anything like that.

  • I would have to disagree that they are underrated! When 2 of the biggest bands on the planet, Metallica & Megadeth, name check them as an influence they're brought up from obscurity! Want a really underrated NWOBHM band? Satan! Their album "Court in the Act" is badass beyond belief!

  • This song sounds most like proto-version of thrash metal, especially the first riff

  • This song is god tier.

  • You say "One of the most under rated NWOBHM bands ever"

Never mind NWOBHM, they are one of the most under rated bands of any genre!!!

It's so sad there is only Brian still in the band, and they are supporting bands which THEY were and influence to!

Right now they are touring with Europe, who did listen to Diamond Head when they started!

  • James Hetfield based the theme of this song for "Seek and Destroy" pretty coool.

  • fuckin dead reckoning, one of the best diamond head songs!

  • My favorite DH song.

  • I would agree... the lyrics are perfect. "business man makes a deal for Nuclear war"...

    Let's wait until 2081..

    I'll be... frakin' old!

  • dead reckonninggggggg!

    i reckon youre dead!

  • James Hetfield got his inspiration to Seek and Destroy from this song

  • is the download version better or worse

  • I downloaded this song from itunes and it sounds totally different compared to this version. Did they make different versions?

  • I have no idea. But my guess is that whatever is on itunes is more recent.

  • i dont know theres a version of am i evil got on guitar hero sounds nothing like the album version the vocals are almost completely different same with the solo but its actually diamond head so my guess is they remastered everything

  • So they took the soul out of the song!?... shitty deal man

  • @Tfarewell4 they re recorded a lot of songs, but ¬¬ search for the flac version of the album for free on internet itunes quality is horrible

  • He should have made the riff more complicated then dumbing it down

  • This song is what James Hetfield used to write Seek and Destroy

  • That's one incredible album cover, and I love this song!

  • That's gotta be what the Murder Train from Metalocalypse is derived from!

  • I love this song! And the album cover is also great!

  • thats a sweet album cover

  • Diamond Head are a must have for all metal fans

  • seek and destroy by metallica came from this song

  • yep james stated this song was his strongest influence for seek and destroy!!! i like it

  • Seek and destroy!Blitzkrieg!Dead Reckoning!Hot songs!

  • you know james of metallica got the idea for seek and destroy while hearing this song

  • I didn't know that.

  • so?

  • it make more sense if u posted that on sucking my love

  • Naw dude. He talks about it in interviews and stuff. He was listening to this song in his truck, and happened to have his guitar there, and while he was trying to follow along, he wrote the intro to Seek and Destroy.

  • he musta been drunk... cause its an easy one to play along to lol

  • It was actually the verse friff from sucking my love that has the almost same riff from seek & destroy.

  • Metallica borrowed this riff to make Seek and Destroy

  • Actually one of the books I own on Metallica...

  • i hate when people make stupid assumptions.

  • what album really is this from cause i know its not really from am i evil

  • It is on Am I Evil, but Am I Evil is a compilation so it probably is on another album too, but I dont know whch one.

  • @Crossbowman its on there first album four cuts

  • Comment removed

  • it come from Four Cuts EP from 1982

  • @kendostick58 It's on the 2007 CD reissue of Borrowed Time.

  • this song sounds like amix between seek and destroy and the blitskrieg to me

  • yeah, and if u listen to sucking my love , and this, u can see where seek and destroy came from.

  • wow this band is great-i never heard em but am a fan now that i have---WICKED ALBUM COVER TOO

  • Great song. Thanks for the upload.

  • Diamond Head kicks ass

  • seek and destroy, dead reckoning, they do sound alike. well, this song influenced seek and destroy. its a good song. why werent they more popular. its mainly because of metallica that people know who they are now. thank you metallica!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • metallica should have covered this shit

  • What's up with all the Metallica references? Why not just appreciate the music?

  • Metallica covered:Helpless,Its electric,Sucking my love,The prince,Am i Evil I wish they would cover "Borrowed Time" (I'm thinking i missed 1 or 2)Diamond Head should have been much more popular.

  • honestly i see way more similarity in seek and destroy and the diamond head song sucking my love

  • the intro is brutal

  • Blitzkrieg and Am I evil were the covered songs on Garage Inc.

  • Blitzkrieg was a Blitzkrieg cover, the Diamond Head covers were: It's Electric, Am I Evil?, The Prince and Helpless

  • great band

  • I love diamond head. You have to come across them accidentally but it's great when you do.

  • Seems like they were an inspiration to Metallica..."Seek and Destroy" has some similarities with this song

  • Metallica covered two songs form them on the Garage album.

  • they covered way more than that

  • @LeelooHamasaki

Metallica covered basically every song on Lightning to the Nations.

  • @LeelooHamasaki yeah, you can hear that. i think saxon princess of the night may have been too, idk. go listen to the solo part of that song.

  • @LeelooHamasaki they were the reason lars started the band in the first place. they covered like 4/5 songs of them in demo's and on several cd's.

  • @LeelooHamasaki You just looked at Wikipedia, you dick.

  • @LeelooHamasaki yeah Metallica has said that this song is their primary inspiration for "Seek and Destroy"

  • @LeelooHamasaki You only said that because you read that off of wikipedia.

  • @MartyrOfMetal ahahaha good comment

  • @Ruben220597 Hahaha
