On a stack of a thousand Bibles, this was the first jazz record I ever bought. It was almost too intense at first, but this blew me away, at the age of 19 (1981), the way Led Zep 4 blew me away when I was 13. Absolute top drawer. I went looking, specifically, for a jazz record way back when, and I figured Oscar Peterson was a safe bet. How little did I know. Changed my love of music forever. Thanks for posting!
@philo237 yeah you got very lucky. As far as I'm concerned this is OPs best album of all and I have like a dozen of them and have been listening to Oscar for decades.
