  • Oh wow... look at you!! Thanks for the post!

  • i was thinking about doing that lol now i know what happens

  • What is the center called?

  • Free energy?

  • Look up spiral crop circles online, a message from the gods?

  • Does it cost much to get an experimenting station going with this stuff? It seems like the coil itself is cheap... what about the other stuff? Sorry I am ignorant to this... I still have not found a good definition for what this thing is supposed to do anywhere... thanks and peace... good video! :)

  • @5T4RSCREAM144

Making coils is just the cost of wire. Electronics is a fun hobby. Get a good basic book on electronics ... and try building various circuits, etc. Those radio shack 80-in-one kits are a good start. There are lots of videos on the Rodin coil.

  • @morpher44 Thank you... seems fun as I am a systems analyst so I think I would enjoy testing the various things in this. Is the Rodin coil supposed to be a man made black hole that creates perpetual energy? I really want to know what it is... I have not heard a good one liner for its definition.. :) Can you help me... lol... thanks! :)

  • @5T4RSCREAM144

To me a black hole would keep pulling in mater and getting bigger and bigger ... so I hope not.

The Rodin Coil is an interesting new geometry for coils that people are experimenting with. It creates

a vortex shaped magnetic field when pulsed or fed AC currents. There are two wire circuits which can be used in various ways such as 1 to 1 transformer, phase shifting, tickler, etc. Unlike a transformer that tries to keep the field inside, the Rodin can emit a field.

  • @morpher44 Oh I see ok thanks. So are there advantages to the input/output laws that make this device special? For example, can it put out more than you have to put into it? Thanks again for the definition.

  • @5T4RSCREAM144

Over-unity is an illusive goal. If such a coil did produce more than you put it, it is responding to EM fields in the local area. The energy would have had to have been there for it to tap into it. After all ... its just wire arrange in toroidal shape.

  • @morpher44 Wow... you really cleared this up for me... thank you so much! :)

  • @morpher44 It creates a steady black hole. It can be used as a stargate?

  • =)All that, from a 1.2 volt battery wow

  • @Simcore999

No this one was using a 12V sealed Led Acid battery.

  • Real men use AC Bieeeeeach!

  • Man that is one evil noise!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Can you tell me what the point is in all this. You wrap a coil with live wires and use it to complete a circuit. Seriously????

  • @BlackBile666

The point is just raw experimentation -- discovery. I'm finding that learning physics, and learning electronics is great fun, but you have to build stuff and mess around to actually get an intuitive feel for it. Yeah you can know all the theories, and formula, etc. That is not the same. Also, assuming we know it all is arrogant. Rodin has certain claims about his coil. So lets mess around with it and see if he's wrong or right.

  • OK!! HOW can we use this to awaken the sheeps and fight the EVIL!!?

THAT IS WHAT I WANT TO KNOW!!

  • nice...!

  • finally the iron man suit build has begun!

  • @bunnieman44

Lol! You made my day. "For the future of mankind."

  • @morpher44 lol

  • see you couldn't answer my question except with some negativity. I suppose then you have no answer. Have fun mystifying people with your elaborate inside out loudspeakers wanker

  • @erik61801

Your question was "what is the point?".

As Bill Hicks used to say "the world is like a ride at an amusement park. If you choose to go on it, you think its real." Stan Deyo mentions a Sci Fi story called "Noise Level", circa 1952. See "Stan Deyo - Antigravity and Free Energy 1 - 8 .. but specifically 2. The point is "believe" that you can make something .. and you can. Carl Sagan's Contact has the famous quote "wanna take a ride"?

  • @erik61801 that effect doesn't occurs if the coil is wired randomly. The coil is wired following the "sacred" maths revealed by Marko Rodin. If you want to learn watch the videos instead of bla bla

  • Thats awesome, I want to make one

  • @johnnyappleseed215 , its not hard just TRY =]

  • so besides messing around.. wtf is the point of this. what is an application besides looking nerdy online..like the guy wraping wires around a baby toy..wow dude you made an inside out speaker..and theres 10 mins or playing around. You know whats fun, hook HV gnd to a motherboard and drag the +v lead around the board! Yes Science! FTW!!

  • @erik61801

more importantly, what is the point of being a hater besides looking like an anti-social science snob douche bag.

  • @erik61801 Sometimes there isn't an immediate use for things that result from experiments. For example, the glass being used on HD television screens and cell phones was created a long time ago (back in the 60's or 70's if I'm correct). It was super thin, very hard to break glass, compared to normal glass. The only problem was there was no use for it at the time. Now there is =D So even if there isn't a practical application for some experiments results now, there could be in the future.

  • Electromechanics and Quantum Mechanics! Contact Me if interested :)

  • Also adding that dude, you totally just scored with the rodin coil.. and it screamed as you put it in the hole.. i feel like a shower now..

  • @MrAbsynth

LOL. I hardly would call it scoring. Shocking .. yes.

  • dude has a pulse generator, a rodin coil, a makeshift tesla expierment going on.. but for some reason he has a super old video camera and no tripod?.. =P

  • If all this rodin coil stuff is true then why isnt it groundbreaking worldwide news? this kind of technology isnt meant for the common man, the government wont allow free energy. I am amazed by the way!. The potenial applications of this device are phenomenal

  • @Misguidedism

I don't buy that this technology isn't meant for common man. Whatever we can dream and make is ours. I think a lot more research is needed for various coil geometries. Mutual induction is very complex (double integral). Coil geometries, like the Rodin shape, are not well understood yet. So experiment!!!

  • @morpher44

on this hand you are correct. I agree, that what I asked before. what are some applications besides this. IE you could have had a single wire point out to ignite the flouro tube.. I see that you made your own pulse generator. Have you considered trying beefing that up and maybe using a dc/ac inverter in a PWM config. Or maybe a signal generator hooked up to a car audio amplifier..hmm. You should tangent your work towards HHO production with these coils. thanks

  • Tesla talked about the importance of experimentation in his autobiography.. i dont understand why people waste their time hating this @Texmurphy51 ... ( take it or leave it and move on )

I think its important to experiment and not only work in theory as there are some things we still do not understand that underpin many of our current (apparently accurate -- but possibly not correct) assumptions. We should be open to all possibilities and learn from the actual results of experimentation.

  • Any other coil of wire would do the same thing.

Whats so special about the Rodin?

  • @Texmurphy51

    geometry.

  • @morpher44 Its geometry is different than other coils but that means nothing. Its simply would on geometry based on ancient numerology, nothing more. Roden claims that a black hole is formed in its center which is idiotic.

He has withdrawn some original claims from his site as well as so called references who either didnt exist or were misquoted.

Would you trust a guy who takes major credit cards for "donations" to his religion?

  • @Texmurphy51

I have no vested interest in defending Rodin. I thought his coil and material was interesting, and wanted to experiment. I disagree with you that geometry isn't important. Geometry is critical and the Maxwell equations point the way.

  • @morpher44 Can you show me in any way, shape or form that the Rodin coil geometry has a connection to Maxwell's equations?

There are thousands of "interesting patterens" that a coil can be wound in but it is hit or miss as to how the fields react.

Motor mfg have been working on this for years & have programs that will predict how a motor works for a given geometry.

  • @Texmurphy51

I encourage you to do your own experiments. My sense of the Rodin shape is that, if pulsed, it produces a field that is vortex shaped. However, if you use it like a transformer, the field is pulled down into the toroid. So unlike regular toroid transformers, it is NOT optimized to keep the field in the toroid. Rather, it is optimized to produce a vortex shape. Hence, its not for use as a transformer. Experiment. Its not a motor .. its not a transformer... its for shaping a field.

  • @morpher44 Transformers are designed to keep the field inside for efficiency.

If you wind a coil on a nail the field with form outside & around it. Vortex is a spinning field. Motors have that spinning field, thats why they spin. I have seen magnets spinning in the center of the coil. There are motors with a PM in the rotor that you can buy. My beef is with Rodin"s claims that this generates a black hole or creates free energy. The guy is a nut who wound a coil based on an ancient pattern.

  • @Texmurphy51

I've watched lots of Rodin stuff and haven't seen him claim free energy. As for any comment about black holes, I took that to be a metaphor only, comparing vortex shapes to the phi spirals in nature. PHI does appear to have a meaning in electro-magnetism -- although I'm not a physicist or mathematician and can't point you to a proof. I'm really not interested in debunking personalities on the web. Big waste of energy ... but to each-his-own.

  • @morpher44 I suggest you go to is website, marcorodin(dot)com & check his claims.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. Its not a matter of debunking his personality but debunking his claims. The real waste of energy is all thepeople constructing devices based on a single mans claim, with absolutely no proof.

  • @Texmurphy51

    yeah yeah Occam's razor.

Actually, if I remember how this went correctly .. Rodin didn't actually make any coil. Other people reading his stuff starting messing around with it as a coil. Discovery requires a little bit of faith, and a willingness to try the unusual. Certainly a smoke-ring forms itself into a toroid and has properties that are unusual .. such as the ability to travel for long distances w/o dissipating. So toroidal shapes are fascinating.

  • @morpher44 Funny, I watched the Rodin videos, (not all of the crazy stuff though) and never saw him once mention other people winding the coil. He seems to have taken credit for that & claimed a laboratory said it was an extrodinary discovery. If you bother to check his endorsements they are mostly bogus you know.

Have you visited his site & read the claims?

"The Rodin Coil is a blueprint, or schematic of the universe, that enables anything to be engineered"

    Pretty big claims

  • @morpher44 and that is what he wanted....everyone "messing or massaging" the idea

  • @Texmurphy51 also the devices are being wound wrong, they need to be wound using the ABHA torus with interlaced doubling circuits, the spires, thats where the real power comes from, you get a new spire for every fractal of the coil. the spires may be the key to this energy

  • i tried this and the lamp went like KABOOM

thax to god i was wearing lap goggles and gloves O_o

  • and if its buy sound its way more easy than high voltage it self tell me more plz

  • @GHOSTTOYS

Frequencies are a spectrum. Sound frequencies, from 0 to 20khz are convenient because we have two sensors on our head that can detect them readily. For coils, though, you need larger conductance (with ferromagnetic material) when going lower in frequency. That is the technical challenge, because you also have to worry about resistance, and HEAT.

  • ok just a question like that ... the thing that drive that coil is hertz ....!! like if you replace the speaker by a coil ...... i just begin to discover a lots about telsa and i always learn that electricity work like grotesque amount in wire but if you can control it like sound whoaaa i got some idea of test of my hown loll ....

  • would this be a more efficient and energy saving way to having lighting in someone's house? if so great. if not, then what's the point other that having a cool (but annoyingly noisy) lighting effect..

  • @fodabonita

Rodin has made certain claims about his coil. I think it would be good to experiment here ... and try to confirm or disprove those claims. The coil is certainly interesting. Efficiency should be measured, yes. Remember, though, it is NOT a transformer coil. Rather, it seems to be a coil that EMITS the field around it. So as a device, it is a different sort of device. One that creates a magnetic vortex. The trick is to invent something to exploit that vortex.

  • it shoud look something like the coil around the glass braided

in like the rodin coil I think the two diffent colors wire are blue and purple

with a red wire being the curent generated the fourth is a open space for light to hit the bulb so the static electricity is picked up from the glass and through oposite wound wires the red wire is a third wire that should result in a positive - negative power result usable keep the sound wave low as its dangerous emai me ch@record7.com

  • hook the neon tube up to the coil

then light the tube with sound your realy close

I dont have the resources end oil please for our children and even grandchildren

they are forcing them to slavery and wellfare by striping our resources with federal parks every thing is federaly ran our power to freedom is the power to the people to reverse the grids power to haarp lightning to protect our self with steam and burn these countries taking out our oil rigs and poluting our coast ch@record7.com

  • @MrCletushowell

When you say SOUND ... your talking 20hz to 20khz. Yeah I'm messing around with frequencies in that range ... but from a 555 timer circuit. The auto ignition coils responds well to low frequencies since cars have engines that rotate from 0 RPM upward to 2000 RPM (0hz to 120khz). So .. yes there is power in low frequencies. Plus, the are easier to work with because you can hear them.

  • wow electric current causes an electric field which then causes and electric current to flow in the florescent tube. amazing rodin coil advances science to new heights

  • I bet if you wound Any other type coil it would work the same.

  • This video was just messing around. At the end of the video I attempt to show arcing between the two circuits... Its kinda dark. That would be unique Rodin geometry.

  • is exiting gas in a tube with electromagnetism still news?

  • U NEED 2, U MAD MAN, MAKE 1 MORE COIL, AND A PLASMA tUBE, PUt VACUME

tUBE BEtWEEN 2 COILS, FILL tUBE WItH A CONDUCtINg gAS

  • Yes some people are messing around with two rodin coils. I think Jamie has plans for a Tesla-Rodin coil. I'm looking forward to seeing experiments along those lines with higher voltages.

  • It would be interesting to see what happens if you use a regular balast.

  • I would like to know it the core could be arranged to allow not for plasma but water to pass through it. having creating a loop much like the old circular fluorescent lights. And if so what would the affects be on the water within the core.

Would there be any adverse affects to the coil and would there be any affects at all to the water itseldf.

    Just a curiosity

    Thanks

  • I wasn't experimenting with plasma so I'm not sure what you mean. This was high voltage AC passing through the coil. It is easy to get shocked when messing with this stuff. Add water to the mix, and you have a recipe for real danger. I prefer to experiment with this stuff in air.

  • great videos keep posting them. I don't understand Rodin coil experiments yet but the videos are still cool.

  • How is it possible to have a spark when the wires are insulated? And if a spark does travel through the insulation, does that not mean the insulation has just been stripped?

  • High-voltage AC is so cool. It can travel on the outside of insulation due to the skin effect ... or burst right through due to induction. Mind-blowing yes, but it happens ... so be careful. Insulators have a breakdown threshold. If the voltage is high-enough ... POOF ... no more insulation.

  • I had no idea. That's amazing. I'll read up on the skin effect, thanks. :)

  • rodin said the whole field was on the outside.

  • I was thinking down the lines of anti-gravity using the flux warping of the rodin coil just have not seen any videos yet with this design I wonder what would happen. you already have the HVDC input on the primary or rodin coil. I would use a pvc tube this would leave a center vent hole for the ozone to flow freely and cycle. I am not sure how much heat would be generated at the center it?

  • The little guy I wired used 26 AWG wire. I think to pass much larger currents though, which would be ideal, a larger form should be used with larger gauge wire. I thought a motor-cycle tire might be a good size.

  • Nice coil, give this a shot...try a tesla coil the secondary winding in the center of the rodin coil using the rodin coil as the primary winding just for kicks. you might want to stand back when you hit the switch? best of luck

  • yes I think Jamie has plans to do that.

  • Do the sparks damage the wire insulation?

  • yes probably. The heat can MELT it off if I were to leave it ARCing too long.
