When playing marimba it is very inefficient to have to raise upstroke your mallet first before making a down stroke. Thus inventing the piston stroke technique. :) and what kind of four mallet grip is that? Stevens grip is what is most commonly used on a marimba, but thats not even cross. Learn technique!! It will make you play better and sound better!! awesome video tho keep up the great work!
