  • I heard he got shot! Hope not! is that true?

  • Pretty damn frustrating to hear that he has had major opportunities come his way and only for him to turn them down. What a waste. To each their own I guess. Keep at it ... great drumming man!

  • I know someone that gave him an expensive Boutique drum set and he sold it. He has great hand skills !!

  • See, he even knows Buddy Rich is the best!!! There are a lot of incredible players out there but after watching them all for the past 18hrs, I noticed that they all use the double base and other pedals, Buddy did not and neither do these guys!! Two thumbs up for grit and tenacity!! Look up video Buddy Rich 1970 drum solo...

  • He apparently has already appeared in some commercials and played a part in a movie already, at least according to a bio on him.

  • cute couple .

  • ME ENCANTA ESTE PERCUSIONISTA ES OTRO NIVEL, LLEVENLO A COLD STEEL O BLUE DEVILS ESTARIA GENIAL !!!

  • his wifes is so much dumber then him

  • @xxjash100xx

    Who gives a shit... ?

  • You don't often see a couple so tuned in with each other, the music aside. They should be playing festivals and so on, what they can do with those old paint buckets and some sticks is breathtaking. I hope they get the success they deserve.

  • you know what Timberland would defo get hugeeee hits with this guy! Timberland should sort this cute couple up! 13 years they been together! RESPECT! GOD BLESS

  • These crackheads hates white folk

  • I hope this guy makes a million dollars soon. Good luck Larry Wright. Your the best drummer ever man.

  • seriously sum1 get this guy in the music industry needs to happen!!

  • You should write about Peter rabbit. He has a fan page on facebook: Peter rabbit the bucket drummer

  • The next time I'm in NYC I am finding him and giving him as much money as I have on my person.

  • He got points... The government should give chances to those bucket drummers that has talent... Seriously, they can do so damn much better than those that has an actual drum set...

  • its more inventive than an actual factory made drum kit.

  • He is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • god i hope u still doing this, i am coming from england to watch u play next week

  • i saw them perform tonight, man!

  • i seen this guy play in new york he is a beast

  • so is he a little cracked out? or is it just me?

    amazing talent..

  • @hall0ween138 It's you trust me!!

  • they should come to Romania to perfom i would gladly ilegall replace the madonna concert posters and banners with Larry Wright ones

  • I hope the music, why are they still poor with that kind of talent.

  • Is he aware that he's a Youtube phenomenon?

  • sad thing is, probably not

  • Someone should bring them over to the UK and Europe, maybe with someone like Seasick Steve, there's a lot of appreciation of real raw music right now. And he'd go down a storm at Glastonbury festival.

  • great people, good luck to them.

  • larry wright more power and God bless!!!!

  • keep smiling :)

  • there really needs to be some place where street performers can go.

  • i love you daddy and mommy

  • He needs to get his wife out of his videos. But he is a master drummer she just annoys me for some reason.

  • He seems really nice. He is unreal at drumming.

  • there should be more people like them.. i wish you guys all the luck to make it to the top

  • i luv him! lol

  • I was inspired by Larry during his early years (through his black and white documentary) and was lucky enough to meet him a few years ago during my NYC travels. Its good to hear him mention the legends, such as Roach and Rich! Peace, Larry!

  • nice persons this 2 hope theyľl be inspiration 4 many otherz . thmbz uup:)

  • People like u guys make the world a better place..

  • you are an inspiration.

  • that's cool, that's cool..

  • i know you guys wont believe me, but the reason why im here is because i wante to say i saw this guy walking into my building at something like 11-1 at night, dont rememebr so well it was about a 6 months ago, i live in the bronx(south Bronx) i saw him and his wife, but didnt want to be rude and ask them, but im 99.9% sure it was him and her

  • this guy is so clean hope u make it to tha top

  • Don't know how old this interview is but keep doin your thing.Would love 2 have talent like u.Nuff love from da UK

  • Props for doing this interview and letting his voice be heard!

    respect

  • GODAMN SOME ONE SIGN THIS GUY he could be loaded man talent right in the subway

  • yeah and not someone like fucking 50 cent man.

  • its actually good that hes doing this and interviewing. blasting his name over the internet. the best way to do it brotha. this guys going places. i garantee sooner or later this guys gonna find a producer or something thats gonna seriously hook him up. but no lie. i dont think this dudes gonna be able to do anything on stage wit drums. i dont mean to hate but its true.unless they do something with liek a guest performance.this guy is the real deal tho ma dude. love your music keep doin ur thing

  • I couldn't agree more about having a place for people like him to play, but then again, I think with him being in a subway everyday, he's going to always meet new fans. You're not going to have as many people walk into a local performing building as you would in the subway. Just think about how many people a year go there for vacation. He's seriously very talented and think he deserves more credit than he gets

  • Weren't you in Mariah Carey's "Someday" video?

  • Tu Tu!!!!!! OMG, it's been sooo long since we saw you. I used to live on Summit Ave in the Bronx and I remember you played the buckets wayyyyyy back then (early 80's). We moved to NC and then ended up reading about you in a weekly reader (sorry about your mom's).....hit me back

  • He has an amazing talent, I'm surprised he hasn't been sponsored or something..

  • Yo, Nevermind all that. Earn it@!

  • Lol it'll be hard to find him!! every day hes playing in diferent place or subway station !!

  • I got a chance to see this guy play when i was in NY last summer, he should be considered the next wonder of the world, I hated NYC but ill go back just to see him play.

  • I saw him at the 42nd street station near the N,R,Q,W trains HE IS AWESOME!!!!!

  • i saw him a few days ago, playing over in 14th union square "L". hes awesome!!!!

  • darndarn! i should've looked for him when i was in new york :/ he's a real tourist attraction, you can keep your damned emire state building :D

  • i think the out of work pimp in the back ground is casing out larry. no doubt you are a talented artist bro

  • I believe this man will start a whole new popular theme in the future. He will revolutionalize a whole genre of music.

  • i cant agree with you more

  • Will someone give this guy a freaking recording deal and get him off the street? He has so much talent and is "condemned" to using all of that skill in a subway. He is incredibly talented and deserves much, much more.

  • @lilgreetr11 there were some bands who offered him a job as a drummer but he is dedicated to street performing ...

  • LARRY!

    HUGZ FROM PORTUGAL!

  • This reminds me of another drummer who is actually doing something totally different. Would someone from Youtube... for god's sake... feature THAT guy. So tired of you the lack of judgment from this company...

  • Talking about Shakerleg. Good lord that guy is breaking his hands every time he plays and yet, WHERE THE HELL IS HIS FEATURE YOUTUBE???? WHERE????

  • Thumb Up for Larry Wright from Serbia !!!

  • This guy loves playing, he knows how to play, he has a family that supports his job, and hes a really nice guy too. Hes the man.

  • Larry your an amazing talent. There are several cities around the US that have areas designated for the performing arts. The most famous one is Mallory Square in Key West Florida. Please check it out. There's lots of people making serious money with 1/2 of your talent.

  • Damn if he in ny and wanna get seen he need to be on showtime at the apollo.

  • Nice omfg

  • i think he is the most talented drummer alive and at least his wife supports him in doing what he loves

  • Yup

  • i hate his wife ever thing she says she points at the camera shes wannabe gangsta

  • thats cool thats cool thats cool thats cool thats coolthats cool thats cool thats cool thats cool thats coolthats cool thats cool thats cool thats cool thats coolthats cool thats cool thats cool thats cool thats coolthats cool thats cool thats cool thats cool thats coolthats cool thats cool thats cool thats cool thats

  • though he might sound really good on an actuall drum set I dont think he would have as much impact as he has now. The buckets are what make him unique.

  • Damn... this is great!!

  • adhd right there ...great I love it

  • T-A-L-E-N-T !

  • he says it himself he supports kids by doing this all he wants is a good invirontment to do it in like a shelter built specificly for people like him

  • OBVIOUSLY HE DONT WANNA KIT OR TO BE PRO OR BE INA BAND ERR HE WOULD OF. I BET THIS MOFO MAKE 100 BUCKS A DAY TO GO DO WHAT HE LOVES IN A SUBWAY. so please dont try to say what he oughta do plus i dontwanna see his badass talent go to waste by buying a kit

  • haha that guy in the back with that hat was staring at them for almost the whole time

  • PEOPLE!!! Somebody go to this guy, talk to him, and sign him on a record deal! You give this guy and his wife a stage and a huge electronic drum set and they could be way better than Tiesto (and beleive me, Tiesto rocks!) but they could be way better than Tiesto. Seriously, give em a break, sign them on a record deal they deserve it! Don't sign people with no talent that end up extremely rich, this guy has talent. People whose starting a band or something, you've got a drummer right there.

  • Why a electric drum set? Why not acoustic drums or let him keep on playing on buckets?

  • With electronic drumset he could customize the sounds of the pads and make a lot of awesome rythms.

  • Thast cool, Thats cool ;)

  • Looks like Asperger's Syndrome. Dude is totally fixated on drumming.

  • To do something like that implies that you got somekinda penchant for making sump'n outta nutt'n... using the raw materials around you to express yoself, any way ya can!!! You only git that kinda thang from the street and from life... you play watcha live... and what he said about the government creating more music awarness and workshops for these raw talents instead of pocketing all the taxes... heed the real you fucks!

  • NICHT WEITERLESEN!!! wenn du diesen text nicht kopierst und

jam with a group, feel that sound.

  • 7 kids? Daymmmmmm..!

  • thanx for posting this real artist. keep up the beat

  • Lovely! I wish them a long life and endless rhythms!

  • Black man. I wish you nothing but the best life has. When you gain fame and wealth (and you will) please hold on the your lovely wife. She is a true queen and will always support you. Enjoy your success. Salaam.

  • I saw this guy 1988 in N.Y. subway. Think he was 12 or something years old then. He was amazing already then, such al talent! Got some old pics too...

  • That is awesome! So much love and respect for each other! Envious! LOL! You guys rock! Literally! Hope to see you make it to the big time - now, where'd the wife put that trash can? (>v<)

  • Yeah, this guy's pretty good. I would imagine he could rip it up on drums pretty well also.

  • Im blessed to have seen this guy. I went to NYC in January 2004. I was performing there. At night we took a walk under a underpass in the subway and there was a guy beating his heart out on Plastic Tubs. We were so moved by his passion we threw dollars into his pot. Little did i know i would be watching him on YouTube 3 years later. This guy is pretty darn awesome.Larry Wright is awesome.

  • thats coool thats coool, thats cool thats cool, thats cool thats cool

  • If someone out there in YouTubeland knows anyone that can get an audition for STOMP! then plaese get these parents a place to showcase these talents. They are truly gifts that we all need to enjoy. Thanks for the post!

  • They need braces....

  • wonder if he can playon a drum set. he should get an agent make some albums and get with a band,

  • if you guys went to europe, you would be millionairs i sware... street peformers make sooooo much money there... like in rome, id say youd be making at least $100 and hour!!!

  • ??? maybe not millionairs, but they would probably make more money, only problem is with all the noise they doo the cops would probably kick them out, like they doo with all the romanians, macedonians, kosovars etc... half of eastern europe plays accordeon in western europe lol, although they don't have as much talent as these guys

  • You guys are awesome!
