I was happy to see those roaches that survived. They were big, colorful, and beautiful. I've seen the poor things blown away all my life both in ads and in real life in my own home. They are so gentle and have pretty features like their wavy antennae. I realize their bad points that they're hated for, but... I think you should reward those that survived with extra food or water. Encouragement.

A relative meassure that indicates that insects can take 10000 or 100.000rads is a reasonable answer to the test.

No, it's been exposed to radiation, but that doesn't make something radioactive. Think of it this way: You can sit in the sun, but that wouldn't make you emit light.

So long the radionuclides they used (in this instance, Cobalt) are in a sealed container, only the radiation can leak out.

So it counts from left to right, meaning that first it was 10% dead, the next check it might've been 30 % and on the last check it might've even been 100%.
