There were several bad calls in that game, but they went both ways. Maybe a couple more against LSU, but there are other games that go the other way. Funny to listen to the announcers again - but whatever. it's an imperfect system, but a great game.
Then I guess the refs have our side this year, from the "Illegal Formation" on the touchdown run by Hester that they picked the flag up on, and after further review of it they can't count the men on LSU's line of scrimmage.
And plus the horrible spotting on your game winning drive.
That is definitely interference. I'm an Arkansas fan and we kicked the crap out of Auburn. LSU is the best team in the SEC and they got screwed big on that play.
If you liked that one, check out the other vids of the Hester catch-and-fumble called incomplete pass after review (didn't know replay had authority to overturn judgment call on field) and the now infamous defensive holding (PI non-call) on Doucet. Fun fact: 4/10 LSU offensive drives directly stopped by officiating.
see the SEC officials like to try to "push" whichever team they think has the best chance of getting them to the big game, rather that team deserves it or not, of course its a KNOWN fact that the only way you will win in Jordan-Hare is to blow Auburn out because you have to beat all 15 players on both sides of the ball...
rwgingles, thank you for putting this out there for the whole world to see, since the SEC is apparently circling the wagons around the refs. Do you have the 4th quarter Doucet PI call that got waved off?
Yeah you would think so, huh? Don't have the link but check out the LSU 4th and 1 catch and fumble (ruling on field) that was reviewed and reversed, called incomplete pass.

JESSE Daniels holding Anthony Mix in the 2004 game in the EZ on 4th and 2 was much worse! Course it was vindicated in the end!!

You mean how the running back mysteriously went down like yard behind the marker, and LSU still got the first.

Exactly the play I was talking about. Not only did it help them with time management, but I also believe it was on a 3rd down.

could it be anymore obvious...
1.he was holding the recievers hand
2.the ball was not tipped
3.he grabbed laffel's arm when he turned back for the ball
oh well, payback will be a BITCH this year

I couldn't care less about either team, but that should've been a defensive penalty.

You guys have to realize that Auburn has no talent so they must rely on the refs to give them the game.

That shoulda been easy TD for LSU, Jamarcus Russel hesitated for the seconds when Irons routed the ball to the outside...
