  • a pity you dont allow huntng.....this behavior is called "chassing" and it is the mating behavior.....if u change your mind about hunting drop me a line.....

  • heaven

  • how many can u kill with one buck shot haha

  • kill em?

  • i think youll need some decoys!!!!

  • Correct, likedovehunting. Drought had dried up most ponds around here.

We have a similar situation this winter. The pond is once again full of redheads with other ducks thrown in.

And, no, I don't allow hunting. Sorry. :)

  • @Frankster148 pause at 1:40 and it appears to be a few ringers (ring necks)

  • My guess is that there wasn't an abundant source of water

  • Actually, the first hunting film, or hunt even, that I saw was of people shooting a Polar bear. It took four or five shoots to bring him down. The first one caught him off guard, and he turned to face his attackers. When they shoot him a second time, he charged. It took them a couple of more to stop him, but he tried bleeding and dragging himself to reach his attackers. Some might even say quite heroic effort. The memory is burned in to my sole.

  • @suemtchlrnw sorry about that, just needed an example of a wild animal

  • omg

  • Why in the hell are you not shooting them damn things?

  • @Thatgeckoguy7 I guess some people don't have the drive to kill any moving wild animal they see.

  • @suemtchlrnw do you see those types of comments (i.e. why dont you shoot em) on videos of polar bears? No, but you do see them on videos of wild game. I harvest them for food, not that I'll starve, but once you get used to wild game, the flavor cannot be beat. Dont say EVERY wild animal if you dont mean it

  • @ilikedovehunting...Thanks for chatting... I said that, because you said Why is HE not shotting the things. You were not just saying you would to have few for dinner. I was saying he did not want to, even if it looks like dinner..to you. I posted above, about the Polar bear hunt above also.

  • @ilikedovehunting Opp I guess that was Thatgeckoguy...I am sure how to post on on tube yet. My apologizes.

  • @Thatgeckoguy7 I saw another photo of a hunt where you had maybe 8-10 water fowl, maybe also redheads? Did you, family and friends eat them all?

  • @suemtchlrnw if you dont eat them it COULD be considered wanton waste, redheads are waterfowl, you could just call them ducks

  • @ilikedovehunting I don't understand understand how that COULD be considered wonton waste. It is just to waste so me. So you see how I can get the notion that some people are just into killing? And then to go so far as to think others should be also...as in "why in the hell are you not shooting those DAMN THINGS"? I see people that aim at any wild animal they see. You know they do.

  • @suemtchlrnw I say could in the sense that for a leo it would be harder to prove, as opposed to not even picking up the game. Some people are in it for killing and they call themselves hunters, when in reality they are shooters. I'm anti-shooting, but pro-hunting. (I dont mean going to a shooting range, but instead I mean high fence, canned hunts, etc...). I say wanton waste in the legal sense, but it really is just waste.

  • @ilikedovehunting I totally agree with everything you have said here. I would like to help make the distinction between hunters for food and shooters more obvious and public.

  • @suemtchlrnw Exactly, I've had people think I keep them as pets (wtf), and shoot everything that flies (misinformed), the reason why many don't like hunting is the fact that they were never correctly informed.

  • @ilikedovehunting can we talk out side this forum?

  • it looks like 100 robo ducks out on that pond with all the birds stretching their wings. Very cool video

  • Crowding and migrating. "Birds of a feather..." Water shortage? How much more water surface is available in the area? We are not on the migration path so the most we have in our ponds (today for example) is ONE redhead, but lots of mallards and canada geese.

  • With one Shot You Could Probably Kill Half The Population Lol

  • @bjepsen85 this isnt spam

  • I think that are way too many, that is why they are engaging in agitated behavior. If you would like, I can come down and get rid of some of them for you for no charge. Just let me know if you are interested.

  • Whoa!!! I've never seen that many ducks in a pond of that size... Not even close! How much corn is in that pond?

  • shoot em!!!!

  • so thats why theres no ducks up here

  • Very cool

  • I'd be choppin with out plug

  • holy crap, where's your shotgun at!?!

  • dom
