I'm born & raised in Sac and a die hard Kings fan, and I can tell you that the Maloofs purposely turned the Kings into trash in order to save money when they traded away Webber & everyone else from our great teams. Glad to see our team is young & talented now, but C-Webb for sure shoulda retired a King. No way should he have been traded. I pray for the day when the Maloofs no longer own my favorite team.
bibby for williams was master deal but webber lost a step after his knee injury he kinda transformed from a forward to a center. to bad the kings had to many Europeans on the team for a "true" nba champion.
that kings was so much fun to watch.... two big men with great passing skills, peja killing from beyond and williams doing his crazy stuff. it was beautifull basketball
He honestly should have had more All Star selections, but the cloud and specter of his U of M days dogged him in the league and folks like Jordan were Jealous of his talent...say what you want, but he did not bow to anyone in the league...Rookie of the Year, right out of high school-str8 to the NCAA finals-first time ever that five freshmen did that..and they repeated it as sophomores, and almost three peated w/o webber when they went to the 1st eva gr8 8. Hall of famer, and intelligent to boot!
that was a good kings team, wallace, bibby, turkolu, webber.

In 2013 Chris Webber should be eligible for the Hall of Fame
TheRatedIX7 2 weeks ago
i would blame every team that traded him cause none of the teams he played for have still won a title.

I felt bad for his career, being traded so many times because people had no faith. he was a true championship and got cheated off the 2002 finals

Imagine if Webber wasn't traded to the Warriors in '93. Orlando might have won a title (Webber, Shaq, Penny, Anderson) in 95.
btone31 3 months ago
@btone31 you obviously not a true fan or you would have known webber was traded for penny! so theres no way they both would of been on the magic...

@btone31 webber was trade for penny. know your facts.
