  • It wasn't ever meant to be that easy, so stop being deluded by things that try and make this whole process a walk in the park, because if you don't...well, I'll be praying that God doesn't slap you silly for your ignorant fallacies and sins against Him.

  • You have to pay for your sins and transgressions towards God though a temporary purification process. God won't allow anyone with sin to step into heaven. Ever. You must be cleansed, and there are no such thing as easy pass as gullible as believing that you don't have face fire to get into heaven.

  • What's even worse is that you're completely absorbed in the idea that all you have to do is believe in Jesus and then you're all set. That is the most ridiculous load of garbage that I've heard is forever. When Jesus died on the cross, that was so we could have the ability to get into heaven to begin with. It wasn't some kind of easy pass that meant every single filthy sinner will be allowed into heaven after death still full of sin. Believing in Jesus doesn't wash those sins way.

  • Quite alpha cherry-picking and listen to the truth, rather then someone else's delusions. MysticalCity's first comment stated that the Douay-Rheims is the best translation. That, believe it or not, is actually a FACT. *begin sarcasm* Wow! A fact! Reading your comments almost made me forget what one of these "facts" look like. *end sarcasm* Well, enough about that. You probably won't listen anyway. You're too busy riding along the "easy train" to realize NO ONE is clean enough to go to heaven.

  • Your comments and this video are so full of ridiculous deceptions and general opinion it almost seems like you graduate from youtube university and got your master's from wikipedia. Every single comment left by MysticalCity, all the way to the very first one, are all TRUE. You're more of hypocrite by accusing other of opinion when this entire time you're posting everything you've concluded to be correct in your own sense of the term. Learn the difference between what opinion and fact are.

  • @TehTacoNinja I approved your silly comments so everyone who sees will know the level of intelligence you possess. Are you Mystics "cousin" or "brother"? Maybe you are the second person in a fatuous trinity? Since you gave no "facts", then it is you that apparantly has a confussion as to the definitions of "facts" and "opinions".

  • @MrSuperchicken1 No, actually everything thing I've said is fact, but I won't argue with you anymore because you aren't the first who's too far up on their hi-horse to realize their own faults. I'll just be praying that God will have mercy on your soul on judgement day. Prepare to be embarrassed beyond means you never thought possible, because that's how you'll feel on that fateful day.

  • John 19:25 - the following verses prove that James and Joseph are Jesus' cousins and not his brothers: Mary the wife of Clopas is the sister of the Virgin Mary.

John 19:26-27 - it would have been unthinkable for Jesus to commit the care of his mother to a friend if he had brothers.

Mark 6:3 - James and Joseph are called the "brothers" of Jesus. So James and Joseph are Jesus' cousins.

  • @MysticalCity John 7:3, 5. Mark 3:21, 31-35; 6:3. Acts 1:14. So now you want to twist the Scriptures to say "brothers and sisters" means cousins???!!! You read this because the Roman church has invented the perpetual virginity of Mary and Joseph. If John or Mark or Luke wanted to say cousin, they could have used the Greek word anepsios, like in Col. 4.10, but instead they used the term adelphos. Let the Bible speak, and not the imaginations of men.

  • if you think when you die you will go straight to heaven and see God, i truly feel bad for you, what part of our righteousness is trash dont you seem to understand, see thats the thing with people who aren't Catholic you guys just interpret Scripture the way you want to, because its more pleasing to the ear. o i believe in the Holy Trinity but not purgatory, i believe in the incarnation but not limbo, blah blah blah blah blah

  • @MysticalCity No, we dont interpret Scripture any way we want to. There is a thing called hermeneutics. What Rome does not understand, and you either, is that the gospel is the good news that Jesus bore our wrath in our place, and in turn gives to us His righteousness before God the Father. Romans 1:17, 8:1 etc.. Isaiah is pre-Christ. We are born into the condition of Isa. 64:6, but after trusting wholly in Christ, we are granted a foreign righteousness, that is not our own- but by grace.

  • @MrSuperchicken1 o okay thats a nice way of avoiding the verses i gave you on purgatory, also nice way of calling all the saints liars, because you yourself have healed blind people, bilocated etc.. your group has no authority, there will never be a saint that is not Catholic, because there is only one church, The one that Jesus Built on Saint Peter,

  • @MysticalCity I, sir, would disagree with the Catholic church for the same reasons Calvin and Luther did in the 16th century. You interpret the Bible through the lens of the Roman Church, I and other protestants do so through the lens of Scripture itself.

  • @MrSuperchicken1 exactly as the man thats in hell put it, once saved always saved, its truly sad u listen to people who thought God in the flesh had relations with the women in the well, also that he had brothers in sisters, protestantism is a heresy, remember One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church, which means it can be traced back to God and the apostles, you on the other can trace back to a fat drunken german, nailing papers to doors.

  • @MysticalCity Ok, now you are lowering yourself to stupid, ignorant, rants. I do not believe God in the flesh had relations with the women in the well (whatever that means), or that he had brothers and sisters (only halfs). I am sorry you are under the Rome delusion. I will pray that God will open your eyes to the truth. Continue to read the Bible.

  • @MrSuperchicken1 so u believe what martin luther and john calvin started, yet u disagree with some of there ideas? typically cherry picker, Half brothers? Jesus did not have any half brothers u imbecile, hey if God had brothers, then why did he tell St.John to take care of his Mother? wouldn't he have told his "true" or "half" brothers? as u put it? also where in The Bible(which was put together by The Catholic Church BTW) does it say "other Children of Mary" o yea it doesn't

  • @MysticalCity Show me where Martin Luther or John Calvin believed that Jesus had relations with women, and such. You sir, to be blunt and to the point do not understand the phrase, "In Christ" which Paul uses many times. Did Christ go to purgatory? Did Christ have to be cleansed to go to heaven? No. Therefore, all who are in Him, are like Him. We are seated in heavenly places. We are counted righteous in God's sight because we are in Him.

  • @MysticalCity Mary and Joseph had other children, therefore, they are Jesus' half brothers and sisters. Who is the imbecile?

  • @MrSuperchicken1 No they didn't you scum, show me in the Bible where it says OTHER CHILDREN OF MARY? OK THEN, stop interpreting the Bible based on your negative iq.

  • @MysticalCity Stop being a puppet of the Roman delusion, and read the Scriptures and THINK for yourself. The text clearly says brothers and sisters.

Mark 6:3- "Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary and brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon? And are not his sisters here with us?” And they took offense at him."

If the intended meaning was Cousin, then why do the English translators not interpret it that way?

  • @MysticalCity Take 3 min and watch the video in my favorites by Sinclair Ferguson on the imputed righteousness of Christ.

  • Rev. 21:27 - nothing unclean shall enter heaven. The word “unclean” comes from the Greek word “koinon” which refers to a spiritual corruption. Even the propensity to sin is spiritually corrupt, or considered unclean, and must be purified before entering heaven. It is amazing how many Protestants do not want to believe in purgatory. Purgatory exists because of the mercy of God. If there were no purgatory, this would also likely mean no salvation for most people. God is merciful indeed.

  • @MysticalCity Ok, see here is where Rome does not understand salvation. When Christ died on the cross, He died a substitutionary death. He took on my sin, and gave me His righteousness. All who trust in Him for that receives eternal life. Gospel means good news. Where is the good news in purgatory? Purgatory is a myth- and a bad one at that.

  • @MrSuperchicken1 Jesus dying on the cross has nothing to do with purgatory! He died so we can go to Heaven! no one can enter Heaven before Jesus died. Adam,Noah,Daniel,Eve, etc, were in a place called limbo. WE ALL HAVE TO BE PURIFIED BEFORE WE ENTER HEAVEN, thats why Jesus came, to save us from hell, then what are we saved from? u act like if God never came down in human form, that we would still go to Heaven.

  • @MysticalCity No, you misunderstand. I am saying that Roman theology teaches that the sacrifice Jesus made is not sufficient for total salvation- thus the necessity of purgatory. It is a works based understanding, and diminishes the atonement of Christ. When He died a substitutionary death, it made those He died for completely righteous (legally). There is no more need to be cleansed, He washed us completely white.

  • @MrSuperchicken1 misunderstanding, Jesus died to save us from hell, we all have to get cleansed to see God, therefore everyone goes through purgatory, before Jesus died no one can enter Heaven, all the good people were in a place called limbo.

  • @MysticalCity Wrong. We dont have to be cleansed. When we trust in the finished work of Christ, we are cleansed. We are positionally righteous, but practically awaiting the redemption of our bodies. There is no mention of "limbo" in the Bible. There was Abraham's bosom.

  • @MrSuperchicken1 we have to be cleansed, every has to, Jesus died so we can have eternal life with him in Heaven, when he said it is finished, The Gates of Heaven were opened. If God never came down we would all be in hell, (John 3:16) u said there is no Limbo. in the Bible, Then how come u believe in The Trinity? The Word Trinity is not in the Bible. Now that he ascended, what is it, but because he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? The lower earth is Limbo(Ephesians 4:9)

  • @MysticalCity I am aware that the word "trinity" is not in the Bible. You, however, specifically said this place is called "limbo" as if it was a commonly understood and propogated term- which it isnt. But that is not the main issue. The main issue is this idea that the sacrifice of Jesus was not sufficient to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, thus leaving a requirement we must meet in order to be in God's presence. This simply isnt true. Rom. 3:22-26 and Rom. 4:5. It is about faith.

  • @MrSuperchicken1 Thats what the Catholic Church calls it, anyway like i said before, Jesus died for our sins, if there was no purgatory 99% of people would go to hell, purgatory is Gods mercy, u make it seem like i just came up with this word, not to mention i gave u many verses, also, almost every saint talked about it.

again Jesus dying opened up the gates of Heaven.

  • @MysticalCity Just what do you think keeps us out of heaven? Answer- sin. If Jesus perfectly atoned for sin, then what is left to "cleanse"? Romans 8:1, there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.

  • @MrSuperchicken1 what keeps us out? Isaiah 64:6 And we are all become as one unclean, and all our justices as the rag of a menstruous woman: and we have all fallen as a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Apoc 21 27 There shall not enter into it any thing defiled, or that worketh abomination or maketh a lie, but they that are written in the book of life of the Lamb.

When Jesus died he opened up the gates of Heaven, but we have to be purified before we get there---

  • @MysticalCity Again, it is the gospel that is not understood here. Yes, we by nature are children of wrath- producing all those guilty deeds, thoughts and such, but God counts those as paid for when we trust Christ for atonement. We are not only forgiven our sins, but are given a righteousness based on the righteousness of Jesus. He traded our sin for His righteousness.

  • @MysticalCity All those in Christ are declared CLEAN

  • --- the next world? purgatory!

And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

in Heaven there is no beatings. and in hell your not with your master, purgatory.

  • @MysticalCity Next world is not purgatory- you are inferring onto Scripture something that is not there. I suggest you read Adler's book- How to read a book. Otherwise, anyone can read into the text things that are not there- many cults have built their beliefs on such poor hermeneutics.

  • @MrSuperchicken1 o i see what it is, since the proof is right in front of u, u choose not to believe it, u clearly avoided my question last time and now u tell me to read a book? ok whatever makes u happy, u chose a different denomination because u are to weak to handle the truth, it makes u feel better that there is no purgatory, so u switched, even though almost every saint talked about it, St.Jerome,St Augustine,St.Faustina,Saint Pio, Saint Anne Emmerich, etc on and on.

  • @MysticalCity I have not switched. I was born in protestant circles, and have remained. I am convinced Reformed Theology is Biblical theology. If all those men taught purgatory, then all those men are wrong. Men are fallible. The Bible is the source of all authority, not the traditions of men.

  • @MysticalCity Again, a misunderstanding of the theological implications of the Cross. "It is finished"- there is nothing left to "seek and to save that which was lost". "All that the Father gives me, will come to me. And I lose none of them." "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." "To live is Christ, to die is gain."

  • @MrSuperchicken1 misunderstanding? or u could not answer the question? i just gave u verses and u are clearly avoiding them, purgatory is Gods mercy, it is hell with a time limit, u realize u not believing in purgatory that your not believing what God said, at the same time, u just called every saint a liar. When Jesus said it is finished, that means its done, all who were in limbo are going to Heaven, at the same time the gates of Heaven were opened for everyone.

  • @MysticalCity I wasnt avoiding your proof texting, but rather addressing some fundamental doctrines of Scripture. Christ's sacrifice was total and complete. It would be unjust of God to punish someone twice for the same crime. When I trusted Jesus as my all sufficient savior from the wrath of God for my sinful condition, I was completely atoned for. Jesus paid that debt I owed. Now if God made me suffer as Christ had to, then that would be punishing 2 people for the same crime= unjustice

  • verses from the 7 books comparing the to other books in the Bible and how they are the same exact thing! now as for purgatory. verses, 1 Corinthians 3:15 If any man's work burn, he shall suffer loss; but he himself shall be saved, yet so as by fire.

Matthew 12:32 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but he that shall speak against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, nor in the world to come.

    wonder whats the next--

  • -- the gates of hell prevailed. The Church Father, whom as u know all Catholic, accepted the decision because The Catholic Church has the authority. And I will give to thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven. And whatsoever thou shalt bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose upon earth, it shall be loosed also in heaven. and if u did a little bit of research u would know St. Jerome accepted the books to be from God, before he died, i can even give u---

  • to note that the Palestinian Jews did not accept the 7 DC books for their version of Holy Scriptures and neither did they accept any of the New Testament. Unfortunately, the Protestants base their Bible on this version which comes from a people who did not accept Jesus Christ as the Messiah.

  • @MysticalCity This is ignorant rantings. You should take some time and do more research before making such fanciful claims. You will discover you are wrong on this.

  • St. Jerome considered the seven Deutero-Canonical books to be NOT inspired by God, but he was commissioned by Pope Damasus to translate all 73 books into Latin. Pope Damasus considered the 7 DC books to be inspired by God. Later in 1946, after the finding of the dead-sea scrolls, it was discovered that these 7 DC books were used by the Jews in Alexandria, even in their services. This verifies that Pope Damasus was correct.

    It is interesting-- continued

  • @MysticalCity You are a true child of the Roman Church, for just like it, you have ignored the teachings of itself early in history- it was its own council that decided what was inspired canon and what wasnt. The church fathers supported the decision. But like the Roman church, it changes its mind (even though God does not change). Typical of cultish organizations. The 13 non-canonical books are not inspired, but are useful for historical purposes.

  • "What sin have I committed in following the judgment of the churches? But when I repeat what the Jews say against the Story of Susanna and the Hymn of the Three Children, and the fables of Bel and the Dragon, which are not contained in the Hebrew Bible, the man who makes this a charge against me proves himself to be a fool and a slanderer; for I explained not what I thought but what they commonly say against us."

  • @MysticalCity The Roman Church has shown itself to be faulty. The same things Luther pointed out- priests going to brothels, Popes scandelizing the people by selling indulgences, Popes having illigitimate families, multiple popes at the same time. Councils overturning previous councils. Worship of Mary and other dead people, the failure to allow the common man to understand the Scripures for themselves. Also priests in large could not understand the Latin they were reading themselves.

  • @MrSuperchicken1 Let us not forget all the people it killed for various reasons- the Crusades, Wycliffe, Tyndale, Huss, and many others who simply wanted to spread God's Word. If this does not prove to show the Anti-Christ spirit that has been in the Roman Church, I dont know what to say.

  • @MrSuperchicken1 faulty? since when are bad people the poster boys of The Catholic Church? What about Saint Pio? Pope John Paul the 2nd? Mary of Agreda? Matthew 16:18 And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.Saint Peter was a rock, Jesus is The Rock, he established his church on Peter, Peter left Jerusalem and went to Rome, Peter was the 1st Pope! if u dont believe The Catholic Church, then u believe--

  • by the way the 7 books are from God, and the reason that wolf who is in hell by the way, martin luther removed maccabees 1 and 2 is because it says pray for the dead, AKA purgatory, since protestants dont know how to defend it, they removed the books.

  • @MysticalCity Well, nice to see you know how God has judged Martin Luther. So by thinking he went to hell, then what is that based on? Do you support the selling of indulgences? Do you support fornication among the priesthood (and popes)? Can you show me where purgatory is taught by any of the 12 Apostles? Or by Jesus Himself?

  • Douay-Rheims best translation.

The Roman Catholic Church is the true bride Of Christ.

  • @MysticalCity What a blanket statement to make. In your opinion, the Douay Rheims is the best translation. You are entitled to your opinions. The other statement, is in fact NOT TRUE. The Roman Church sold itself to idolatry and anti Biblical ideals along time ago.

  • @MrSuperchicken1 its not in my opinion, its the truth, the corrupt kjv took 7 books out of the Bible, and changed verses. compare Luke 1:28 and Genesis 3:15 matter fact with any Bible and the Douay Rheims

Ill take a Bible translated by a Saint any day then over some that thinks they know.

by the way every Saint was Catholic, Did u perform any miracles? Did God ever talk to u? Did Our Blessed Mother appear to u?

  • @MysticalCity The Canon was established at the council of Carthage, and the apocrypha was not included. The original 1611 KJ included the apocrypha- so your facts are incorrect. The Roman church did not elevate the Apocrypha until the council of Trent- which was a reaction and response to the Protestant Reformation.

The Roman definition of Saint is not one found in Scripture. Do you believe man or God?

  • @MrSuperchicken1 thats strange i use to have a kjv 1611 with the 7 books missing but anyway,

Mark 13:31 - heaven and earth will pass away, but Jesus' Word will not pass away. But Jesus never says anything about His Word being entirely committed to a book. Also, it took 400 years to compile the Bible, and another 1,000 years to invent the printing press. How was the Word of God communicated? Orally, by the bishops of the Church, with the guidance and protection of the Holy Spirit.

  • @MysticalCity There were hand written manuscripts. Papyri, vellum, scrolls, etc..
