"The Wedding Song" is my mom and dad's theme song cum wedding march when my mom walked the aisle in July 24, 1965... this has been played as well at their 25th Silver Anniversary in 1990... and in 2005 during their 40th Ruby Anniversary... sadly our anticipation of hearing it once more for their 50th Golden Anniversary this coming July 24, 2015 won't happen any longer for my dad died last June 30... a heartbreaking loss for us while preparing for his 80th birthday... May his soul Rest in Peace!
This hit by Julie Rogers was the 48th #1 song on Billboard's newly formed chart that is now known as the Adult Contemporary charts. It also hit #1 on the Australian Kent Music Report. It was #3 in the United Kingdom, #10 on the Top 40 charts, and #16 on the Germany Media Control charts.
My first elder sister used to sing this song and she recorded in cassette tape by night. I knew because of her quiet voices when I later played her song, now I grow up and her voices still in my memory so she made me love this song very much. Every time I've heard this song, I think of the very old day when I was young. I've to thank you her, she sang when she studied in Commercial school in Ayutthaya city of Thailand.
its so nice to see a beutifull lass, singing a beutifull song, with out a bunch of dancers pancing about, singing is about singing.and this lass does it well
I don't consider my self as being old fashioned, but I absolutely have adored this song since I was a kid. Haven't heard it in ages and it's one of those songs that stick in your head and you find yourself humming it without knowing.
Awww, this was my late parents song, even after my mum died I could still hear her sing this in my head, I remember my mother singing the high parts to perfection! Lovely song and nice memories of my parents, Thanks for sharing. xxx
i could not describe of her perfect harmony and showmanship, how great she is from the time i was born I didnt know her but i know the title of the song., I thought it was sang by connie francis but i found now lately, thanks very much of uploading

This song is so beautiful and beautifully sung by a very beautiful lady. You can't beat the old songs and singers, who had to really be able to sing!
