guitar on right doesnt seem to know whats going on during the solo i own the dvd and it is like my bible i know this song like my own dick i see the damn thing every day and he was not close at all. tahlock i thought the same thing the strat player was too sloppy no melody....the les paul player had no feel....the bassist was really good and had that nice feel....and the drummer was just amazing...to be able to play achilles last stand and sing it how robert did....just incrediable

Stairway transcends all. It has a live of its own. It starts as a tiny acoustic intro. In comes recorders and vocals. Then twelve strings. Two verses later drums and bass. Then Plants voice is interupted by the guitars and kicks into the solo. Then the finale. The tempo always grows. And I always feel that Roberts sang only half of the story but was cut short by the interlude.

Achilles is still my favourite song, but stairway overpowers it.

Nice wall of sound you guys have erected. Work on the intro/outro chord pulls just a tad and let some of the notes hang for the barest of moments during the song.
