  • Let me clarify one big detail.

The Secret of the Golden Flower is NO different from the Yoga, Merkaba meditation, Microcosmic Orbit Meditation, etc.

Continuous deep breathing (abdominal). Basically you focus on the thalamus area of the brain as great as you can. Once it is a stable ball of ''energy'', then you shift your emotions to pure love for everything that exist and feel as much excitement for life as you can. No love = no result.

BOOM! It happens. Simple right? It can take 3-5 hours.

  • The only thing that we need to achieve is the state of No-Mind. No thought, no feeling, no awareness, the absence of everything except the spirit.

  • thank you! I love it!

  • Not sure Gustav Yung understand taoists teachings - because he was not intiated to that way by a real taoist...

  • @LEDRAGONCELESTE You don't need to be initiated into anything to have an experience. Pre-requisites are spiritual oppression.

  • Thomas Cleary translated many Daoist Texts based on Complete Reality Daoism . . .

May you reach the Dao through peace and understanding . . .

Remember that meditation is 24 hours a day not just when sitting . . .

  • Thomas Cleary PhD in 1991 translated The Secret of The Golden Flower IN FULL with complete understanding and knowledge . . . it's available at amazon.com for less than 15 bucks . . . if looking for complete meditation - get the FULL TEXT . . . if interested in learning more: Follow me: William Smith - masterzen8518 on facebook and twitter - BE BLESSED - BE PEACE - the DAO is the WAY - you can reach spirituality to its fullest . . . Remember Thomas Cleary Phd - 1991

  • @masterzen8518 Agreed. Cleary's book is awesome and shows the quite dangerous flaws in Wilhelm's translation. I couldn't understand it. Thomas Cleary's is easy to understand and can be used to reveal the Dao. IMHO it is the best book available on meditation. Best wishes.

  • willhelm got it wrong Leary is a better translation

  • @Fishpigg Thomas Cleary is the full name - and yes Wilhelm was way off - May the Dao be with you . . .

  • WTF WHY HE TALKS SO SLOW ? I DONT HAVE SO MUCH TIME !! ... everything else is fine

  • come hermano!! parece que te estas por morir solo!!! deja de robar goldin flauer

  • How do you feel about the using cannabis as a tool for this meditation?

Often when I smoke, I become very aware of this area of my forehead.

Also, I was wondering how to interpret this: I was laying in bed, at night.. and began to meditate - I perceived a very deep bass sound, droning.. eventually a great darkness began concentrating between my eyebrows - I as if my entire being was being deformed and mutated from this area - not particularly pleasant. The experience was a bit overwhelming.

  • Taoist inhale cannabis inscents so yes that would work!

  • @arnesonj25 - - - very dangerous idea to use drugs - - - especially while trying to find the DAO . . . One should first cleanse the body of impurities for at least 6 months before starting practice of the DAO . . . follow me: William Smith on facebook and twitter where I post info. on the Way . . . Be @ Peace !!! May blessings follow you !!! Take care !!!!

  • @xxObscuraxx - - - drugs should never be used for they create an unnatural meditative state . . . not true mindfulness which allows one to be at peace in the midst of any and all activity . . .

  • do not concentrate or visualise, the major issue in this method is contemplation, being totally present in between the thougts while sitting, and fixating, meaning to fix any thought without letting it take you into the free association...

  • @StichtingIOCOB - - - correct wisdom - - - Peace be with you - - - well said . . . True attainment is free of sitting and fixating . . . And if done right, true attainment is with the practitioner all the time . . . Not only while sitting...

  • i can feel the same felling just above the eyebrows, i have also experimented using my own bio-energy through concentration and meditation to pulsate energies through my head and through my body, i am trying to find out research on this, If you can help you are most welcome to contact me by a message.

    Namaste ; )

  • @MrLove4ALL - - - be careful - this particular type of practice is dangerous and can have physical and psychological damage to body and mind . . . Seek a true teacher before attempting . . .

  • Thanks for the information, you mention that one can percieve e very slight tingling between the eyebrows, sometimes I feel it during the day, would like to know if I shoud concentrate on it to make it more intense or just let it fade naturally, will apreciate any help

  • @plectrosNicolas - - -it may be just a migraine headache - be careful with damaging body and mind

  • Research JJ Semple. He has two very modestly priced books that explain the Golden Flower Method completely. Very easy to understand.

  • @kingolaf99 - - - JJ Semple wrote a book based on his experience . . . he does not explain the ACTUAL TEXT . . .

  • Recluse...just try and experience is the best to do, independent of acient texts we have all the intrinsique wisdom to explore what is best for us...

  • @StichtingIOCOB - - - correct wisdom - - - Peace be With You - - - The Dao is naturally inherent in all . . . Do not go outside searching for a "THING" which is within . . . You have all blessings !!!

  • The Lu Yen translation of the Secrets of the Golden Flower is the most comprehensible translation, it is the clearest on the technique and it says to focus one's attention on the third eye with closed eyes while one is aware of he's breathing. No gazing on the tip of the noise mentioned. What you think ?

  • Thanks for asking, gazing in the direction of the point of your nose, softly in the direction of the point of your nose, but not directed on your nose!!! Look at the acient tekst for more clarification!

  • @StichtingIOCOB - - - dangerous practice can lead to eye damage - - - careful - - - there are 3 states of Dao practice

  • Right, not bad, now what are you supposed to do with the flower. If you say it's on the end of your nose I will be very annoyed.

  • Good one !
