The g was stock and the rsx had headers, exhaust, solid motor mounts and he lowered vtec to kick in at like 5k i think he said. I was impressed! No match for my vr4 but i got 2 more cylinders, 2 more turbos, and 2 more wheels driving it lol

It has 306hp in 07 but if it were rated in 06 or before it would be close to 330. The HR is known to get sub 5 second 0-60s and around 13.3 in the 1/4 mile, some have got as low as 13.1 STOCK. Its proven to be almost as fast as the 370z. Just thought some of you might want to know that.

@alexlugovoy you shouldn't quote hp figures in a debate of cars. you should quote power to weight ratios if anything. The Z comes up on top, but a bad driver can change that. Wrong shift points, slow shifts, etc etc, can cost alot in a race and adds up quickly when you are racing a better driver. I speak from experience when i first had my car, i use to run mid 14s to low 15s. Now at my local track i can hit 13.8 or close to pretty consistently. Racing isn't that black and white.

03 350z are the fastest in my opinion cuz of the 274torque I raced one wit with my 2002 rsx-s rh/e/I/img/rbc/skunk2stage 1 cams/70a motor mounts and kpro.. Went from 20 roll I was in front the whole time till 4th gear his torque kicked in.maybe if I had that LSD cluth wit flywheel I would be smashing The shit outta it.but selling my car for evo now.

@sakamydique The Z appears to be an (03-05) 350Z. I can tell by the wheels, headlights, and the fact that there is no bulge in the hood (indicating that it is an 07+ year) Z, aka the HR 350Z's (HR is the engine code). HR has around 306 SAE HP. but in reality if you use the 03-05 horsepower ratings to rate the 07's HP it techically has about 315-320hp vs the 03's 287hp. The Z went uderwent harseher ratings in 2007 so the 306HP really doesnt seem like an improvement, but it actually is.

THIS IS NOT A KNOCK AT ALL: IM STATING FACTS. promise. Love honda and nissan. I own both.
I have an 07 350z-hr ...the HR... vq35hr.
2007-2008 are the models with the much better VQ35 motor before you get into the vq37hr in the 370z which is just bigger than the 35.
this Z is an 03-06, with the vq35de, not SLOW.. but slower than the HR.
this race is about right.. A modded rsx-s with kpro and rbc staying with the 350z-de.
my HR would pull the same rsx-s 1.5 cars while still pulling.. stock.

@alexlugovoy you shouldn't quote hp figures in a debate of cars. you should quote power to weight ratios if anything. The Z comes up on top, but a bad driver can change that. Wrong shift points, slow shifts, etc etc, can cost alot in a race and adds up quickly when you are racing a better driver. I speak from experience when i first had my car, i use to run mid 14s to low 15s. Now at my local track i can hit 13.8 or close to pretty consistently. Racing isn't that black and white.

@ZeerXX I know what you mean ))) but I thing power weight ration is pretty close in this cars because z is heavier than rsx ) rsx has less torque ) you so right about shifting ) but I think even automatic z would beat rsx which basically means than you don't have to know how to shift very well ) but I totally agree with you ) driver is the biggest mood you could have

@alexlugovoy Both have a passenger, and the 350z with better power:weight, will make a difference when that passenger in the RSX really makes a big difference. Take the Passengers out and the RSX will pull...

03 350z are the fastest in my opinion cuz of the 274torque I raced one wit with my 2002 rsx-s rh/e/I/img/rbc/skunk2stage 1 cams/70a motor mounts and kpro.. Went from 20 roll I was in front the whole time till 4th gear his torque kicked in.maybe if I had that LSD cluth wit flywheel I would be smashing The shit outta it.but selling my car for evo now.

@ambientflier i beat that z in autox by about 2.5 seconds on a 40 second course....pax times we are right next to each other...within 1 or 2 tenths so were both good drivers

@Scooter2140 Sorry, but he wasn't a great driver then. It's a fwd car with .80g of grip and a rwd car with 0.90. The rsx might be slightly more agile, but not enough to have a better time.

@sakamydique The Z appears to be an (03-05) 350Z. I can tell by the wheels, headlights, and the fact that there is no bulge in the hood (indicating that it is an 07+ year) Z, aka the HR 350Z's (HR is the engine code). HR has around 306 SAE HP. but in reality if you use the 03-05 horsepower ratings to rate the 07's HP it techically has about 315-320hp vs the 03's 287hp. The Z went uderwent harseher ratings in 2007 so the 306HP really doesnt seem like an improvement, but it actually is.
