  • Hey did you find it nervous leaning into corners? It seems daunting -.-

  • yamaha ftw! i just got my 98 Fzr600 working right. Is the MSF course worth the money?

  • What? that was so cool? damn man!! are you serious, i know you don´t :)

  • "that was so cool", haha yeeh, tell me whats cool and you will see some real 180 mph driving ! ;)

  • cool that was cool , at 5 miles :)

  • @666brokenhearts that was 2 and half years ago ...i was still learning :-). I didnt want my first video to have me pulling the throttle back and throwing me off the bike like you see on so many other youtube videos...although it would serve as a nice laugh!

  • @o0heavyb0o naa its ok i learned of that way jaja i hve the same moto than you !

  • good stuff!!!

  • yo can you make a vid of your bike now:)

  • Gay

  • im jealous.

  • I love the sound

  • ...I have been riding a CRF450r for years now and I just can't see myself jumping on a Ninja 250...I'm getting a used R6 as my first bike...

  • you ride like a bender

  • GooD R6

  • im 5'6 does this bike fits me?

  • @GibsonRay6 I doubt it stock, you would need to lower it. Dont think your feet would touch the ground the seat is really high compared to other bikes.

  • I just took the MSF course! I passed too. And I want an r6 too!

  • hey how much did you pay for your bike?

  • @KillaCowboy I payed 4000 at the time...had 11k miles on it. great shape!

  • Best way to learn how to handle a bike is to dirt bike it teaches you soo much

  • @sk84life9393 I couldn't agree more... I spent the last 4 years throwing around a torquey 450 and it made transitioning to sport bikes so much easier.

  • One of the few smart riders i have seen!!! Atleast we know you dont wanna kill yourself

  • The Yamaha R6 is really a beautiful bike. What is the average cost?

  • @keithc1977 depends what year. Mines and 02 and they were going for 4k 2 years ago

  • i just got an 02 r6 a week ago but just got it plated today, rode about 100 miles on it lol, beat a cbr900rr, i have the double tuning devil exhaust but it has to have alot more mods done to it cuz it just has trouble staying on 2 wheels

  • ya u say u wanna go up in small strides but who has that kinda money to keep buying another bike i went out and just got a used r6 u just need self control and value ur life

  • This is the bike I bought, I havnt took my course yet but its a good begginer bike.

  • becareful dude.

  • i have a 02 r6 just like this one and its a comfortable ride and i'm 6'2. also have a 07 cbr1000rr but the r6 is better street ride, and just because its carbed doesn't mean it won't pull 160 mph , trust me

  • ive done 125, 600 hornet, thn 01' r6, but in england we have a crap license system so im limited to 33bhp *offically anyway lol* but yeh the r6 is great, the one in this video is 02 so injected, but pretty identical really, fast enough for any1 sane

  • forgive me if im wrong but wasn't the R6 made "fuel injected" from the 2003 model and onwards.. not 02??

  • possibly 03' yeah im not sure i jst know mine isnt which is poo lol

  • yeah its inj from 03

  • I has one of these but in red at home right now, just passed my course 2 weeks ago and been riding it around my neighbourhood practicing. I love it! Wherever I am I'm thinking about my bike and sad that I got it so late in the year =(

  • Ride on brother ..that's how I felt when I first got off my bike after my first ride lol

  • thats one thing i dont like about the states, and about the direct access here in the uk. how people can do a few days on a low powered commuter and then jump on something like this. i know someone who went straight to a busa cause of its rep...crashed it due to inexperiance. ive gone 125, 400, 500, 600, and currently have an 02 r6.

  • i agree, but it's all about self control, knowing your limits and understanding you are invisible on the roads

  • I am planning to buy 1 of these r6, 2002 I am 6`3.... Do you think that I would fit comfortable.

  • @o0heavyb0o yes but sport bikes are also extremely unforgiving for a rider, my buddy got his first bike (r6) and crashed on the 2nd day because it was unforgiving (he thought he could just hop on a bike and ride like i did since im sponsored now, but what he didnt understand is that i started on a "beginner" bike)

  • @o0heavyb0o Not true at all. Knowing your limits while in control of the bike is one thing, but knowing exactly how to maneuver in a moment of panic is another. Someone who jumps on a 1000 for their first bike can keep it at 35mph in a 35 zone all they want, but if something jumps out in front of them and they give it a little too much throttle in the middle of their swerve by accident, the bike is going where they don't want it to; without them on it. Experience really is key.

  • @JustinPSherman hey, im not arguing...i've only been riding for 2 years so everything you all are saying is good info :-)

  • @o0heavyb0o Fair enough, I was just saying it's not a good idea for a noob to get on a bike with enough power to rip you off the back. I've only been riding for a few months but i already have over 3000 miles under my belt and I'm really glad I spent that time on the bike that I did. Next season I'm getting an R1 and feel comfortable getting it because I've been pushing the 600 I was on to its limit for a month and a half now. All about experience and comfort level combined.

  • @v4forlife Well, with the good sides of our country come the bad as well. I completely agree with you that (generally speaking) people should have to go through a succession of engine sizes before going to a monster. Even Ferrari won't let you jump into an Enzo, just because you have the money. However, the freedom to make that choice for yourself is priceless. If people are dumb enough to think they can jump onto a Busa with zero experience, maybe they weren't meant to be in the gene pool?

  • @v4forlife I know what you mean, I've got a ninja 250, first bike, selling it for a newer 250 because thats what I'm comfortable with right now. I had a buyer lined up and he was ready to buy it until his friends called him a pussy for getting a 250. He had never been on a bike but because his friends thought he was a pussy, he wants to start in a 600 now. I laughed at him.

  • @v4forlife lol Who cares? You're just trying to justify the fact that you had to spend all those years riding mopeds. I started on a zx-6r 636 and I was fine.

  • Get back on that bike! or i will! lol. One minute wouldnt satisfy my craving one bit :D. I'm gettin my first bike this weekend (an R6 obviously). Can't wait it's like i'm on a permanent sugar rush lol

  • lucky u...im still saving up for one...ive got like 300 saved lol...

  • nice bike

  • Nice Bike Man. I love it! R6 for life.

  • hey mate.. nice bike !! me too thinking to get this bike.. im 5.9 as well.. is it heavy to navigate ? im a newbie at this.. any tips bro ?

  • I just got this bike yesterday, and it's a pretty tall bike. I'm 5'11 and I could barely put my feet down (only the front of my feet touch). You might want to lower it a bit if you decide to get it.

  • I have a 01 Yzf R6, I'm 5'8" and I can get both of my

feet on the ground. My bike is not lowered nor

is it a tall bike. It's PERFECT!

  • Yeah, you could get your feet down but not flat footed. Well, after trying boots on and riding in boots, it's definitely a lot easier to flat foot. So I guess what I'm saying is it'll be hard to put both feet down flat with athletic shoes unless you're tall :)

  • no not heavy if u lift weights lol

    its not

  • ye it is really good ... actually i cant stop watching the vid cuz im newbie too and its so good to start step by step not just to push the gas and ...

Go Ahead and post more videos ! :)

  • I just got a new cam ...but i rigged it up wrong and ended up taking video of the road.....so hopefully soon ill have another video!

  • hey nice vid man fuck the haters

  • Cool bike. I'm thinking about getting the same kind. May I ask, how tall are you?

  • I'm 5'9"

  • Why would i switch to second gear? I'm going to slow. Nice try at being witty though.

  • Comment removed

  • that was so" Cool " !!!! in 1922 Riding at 8mph was cool yeah

  • can you not read? it's my first motorcycle and it's my first time riding it around you dumb fucking troll. The internet hates you.

  • hahahah nice come bac lol classic

n nice bike did the same thing when i got mine:)

  • yo how you doin...sweet bike!! im actually thinking of buying the exact same model and color.....do you recommend?

  • Yes, i love this bike! you will not regret it.

  • really nice jacket!!!

  • very nice bike i was going to get one of these but i bought a 250 instead because i didnt trust myself with the power for my first motorcycle

  • I was seriously considering a 2008 ninja 250r but I saw this bike for a very sweet deal and i had to buy it! The MSF course really helped with understanding how to keep the power in control.

  • what kind of exhaust is that bike running on?

    it sounds great.

  • Thanks! It's an ART Pro Series II exhaust. The previous owner already had it on there. Everything else is stock I believe. There isn't too much about it on the internet that I can find but it does say "Made in England" on the pipe.
