What you do with that love and how you express it to each other should be between you and not blatantly mashed in the face of everyone you encounter. There was etiquette about interaction in public. Even hetero couples could hold hands, walk arm in arm, and kiss in public, but groping and suckface was reserved for somewhere private. That has fallen by the wayside, and I think it scares people. Gays and lesbians led that charge in order to get exposure, and now you get the blame. -still more-
Is it really needed to change GAY to something else. I think of all the transitions of labels for race and ethnic groups until no one could agree. Not to be a wet blanket. But isn't it more important who you are than what you are called? If broadcasting your sexuality had fallen from vogue, the later fear mongering brought about by the administration might not have had the power it did. Being in love is a gift, no mater the source or gender. --more-
