I really like the Dye DM guns. I wish i could afford a DM7, but I just decided to look on craigslist and got a Dye DMC w/ UL frame for $400. I love it, but you gotta learn to control the recoil

Im new to Paintball alltogether. However, Ive played a few games and im ready to get my own gun. Its my B-Day soon, so i can get a good gun. Im just wonerding what a good gun might be. depends how much you can spend.

i use an invert mini, does great, its small and very manuverable, im putting a crossfire peanut on it and i already use an egg(the egg makes it a lil unbalanced in my opinion, but im in a team and playing against kids with egos and dm's my mini matches up just fine, the only thing is a little accuracy, i suggest a 14 in. freak barrel or stiffi to balance out the weight of the gun a little, don't get an ion, everyone has them.

I agree with you on most stuff except not 100% on the Ion. The Ion is pretty much THE starter gun (has been for a while) and is quite upgradable, but after playing for a while now, I switched to a DMC (from PMR)w/ ULframe and Tadao m7 board, and it rocks. And the barrel, I use a 14" CP 2-piece barrel. I prefer a Halo B because its smaller and sleeker than the Egg (a little heavy). I don't like timmys or Egos, sounds dumb, but just a preference.

playing snake is only hard when you dont have a back player watching you then it is easy to bunker the snake guy but it is always good to have a back player laning for you
