Notice that none of the other republicans don't EVER directly challenge Ron Paul on the economics question? They avoid the topic when he's around as much as possible because they know what he does in congress: he is the Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Domestic and International Monetary Policy, Trade and Technology. They can't match him on experience in monetary policy as he is congress's expert.

The guy who called lied and made Ron Paul look bad. It was obvious that the guy wasn't really a military member. I mean he couldn't even remember where he was stationed or what he did. He could've just stated his statistics and showed his support for Dr. Ron Paul without lying.

You guys can try to excuse him all you want, but he obviously had no answers to the questions being asked, because he lied in the first place and he wasn't someone who could think quick on his feet. It took him like 2 minutes to blurt out Baghdad and the only reason he said Baghdad is because he probably doesn't know any other Iranian cities. He could've just made his point and moved on, but instead he took it upon himself to lie and in doing so he made Ron Paul look bad.

Killer, I don't know if he lied or not but it was probably his first time on the air - he actually reminded me of a rabbit caught in headlights. Can you tell me honestly that you could be/were absolutely cool the first time you are/were on the air? This guy got rattled and froze. That's all - but the CSPAN guy knew what he was doing - he shut up a Ron Paul supporter.

I think he was considering how much information he should give out--was he still active duty? His commanders might not like him saying "it was an unjust, unconstitutional war."

Personally I wouldn't want to say what unit I was with, and his mos might have revealed that.

The moderator on CSPAN has this habit of interrupting the callers with questions when he doesn't like the caller. There is another younger lady that does the same thing. The older moderators don't do this, the ones who have been with the show for years. A new and unpleasant turn of events since Ron Paul callers started calling the show more and more.
