Personally I think the weird act for Topanga definitely could have worked out throughout the series. It could have been a plot where Cory becomes more accepting of her personality to the point where they became closer than just friends. I say this for the sake of continuity because BMW has the most plot holes of any long running sitcom with success

I used to Love TGIF and Boys Meets World, I Know it was a wholesome family show but it sent out a lot of positive messages about growing up, this along with Full House, Growing Pains and Home Improvement were some of the best shows to watch growing up, they were funny but they also taught you a lot about the real world. I also remember watching TNBC (did anyone else watch it?), they had some pretty wholesome shows that were funny and also addressed real life issues...man i really miss the 90s!
