I would suggest making your own little clip to use when the sabers make contact, as lens flares should never be used in lightsaber effects.

FYI, saucy, this is just a test clip so we weren't too worried about the location. I suppose we could've done the duel out in a field like all of the other geniuses, but we decided to use my garage to end the redundancy. Also, I wonder how you think the choreography was copied considering: A-You weren't there and B-We made it all up. Tell you what, you find our exact fight in another movie and then you win champ.

the fighting was not the best or very original but the ending was. The acting was good in the end scene and the way both of them die is good

There was only a bit of a problem: when the double edged lightsaber fell down, the unlighted edges of it can be seen on the floor. (Seen somewhere around 0:59.) The moves were slow but the effects were quite good.

Yeah, thats what everyone usually says. I wasn't planning on putting this online, but when I made an account I wanted to show off the effect. I'm planning on making a new and improved duel that should be out in mid 2007 with all the little things fixed. I appreciate the feedback though. Thanks.

While a good and well-made deul overall, the choreography needs a fair amount of work. A lightsaber battle is an intense combat between two highly trained warriors and needs to look as such. For your next viedo, I would suggest that both combatants move A LOT faster. Other than that, great film and I look forward to more.

There were a couple key frame errors witht he dual saber, but pretty good job overall. Keep up the good work. Light sabers are cool, but I hate making them in AE

Yeah, it is really, really tedious to go frame by frame to make these, but I love the end product so much I can't help it. By saying you hate making them in AE does that mean you use a different program? If so what do you use because I'm always open to new programs. Thanks by the way, I enjoy getting feedback.

I use After Effects as well. I just hate keying almost every frame. It is real tedious work, but as you mentioned above they have a pretty cool end result.

I use LS Maker for my lightsaber projects because it is the only thing that is cheap enough. What do you use?

Thanks. I use Adobe products for the lightsaber effects I do. Specifically, for the lense flare and lightsaber effects I used Adobe After Effects.
