It doesn't mater if you have a job or not. There should be free healthcare. If you have a chronic disease you will be dropped by you insurance company, if you get a cancer, you will be dropped. The Government is so picking up everybody's healthcare as they fall off the train. They're broke and getting Medicaid. That one lady had the answer - end the Monopoly. The Government is the one that gives them that Monopoly. That's why I keep saying the Republicans are full of shit when they say they want the free market instead of the Government. They're the ones protecting Wall Street. They wouldn't even allow non-profits because Wall Street couldn't compete.

The Democrats had a chance to make history by pushing through the single-payer option, but they were sabotaged by themselves. There are too many Republicans posing as Democrats who got elected (Blanche Lincoln, Ben Nelson, Max Baucus, etc.), and they're part of the problem with Democrats. We need a 3rd party; Ron Paul, Alan Grayson, etc.

Yes, I'm from New Zealand, but I live in the U.S. now. In addition, I am a Conservative-liberal, yet more Conservative than liberal and that is why I'm a registered Republican. However, I don't think I'll stay a Republican if all I get are ignorant politicians to choose from; e.g. G.W. Bush, Sarah Palin, etc.
