  • He is wearing a silly band. Lol

  • Can't stop drooling....They cost so much cause they have to import these from another galaxy.

  • @theweedranter they're only 100 dollars?

  • Lovin these shoes :)

  • Got a pair today frickin awesome

  • Are they good for tennis??

  • @jononbass18 :: I tried em out..but burned thru the heel and toe in a MONTH. I'd go for the Vapor 9's. Simply Love those shoes so much I bought another one .."good tennis shoes" only come out so often..

  • Hahahaha this guys got a silly band.

  • These are gonna be my summer shoesss (:

  • I got a pair of these last night soo excited!!!!!!!:)

  • I thought all Nike Frees were rated 3.0, 5.0, or 7.0??? What's the barefoot rating on these?

  • Im giving away a pair of these once i get 100 subscribers! check out my channel!

  • I used to hate running but now with these shoes I love it. My legs don't hurt and my feet feel smooth and these shoes are incredibly light. I highly recommend these!!

  • $160 in Australia :/

  • @minipels1 They're worth it man, i recently bought a pair.. Majority of decent male runners are from $120 in Australia

  • @JoelsDrums yeah my free runs came in the mail yesterday, THERE INCREDIBLE

  • @minipels1 They're. They're. Not "there incredible". They're. THEY'RE!

  • I've got 4 pairs. ha i love them

  • I use these shoes for track practice at school and they are AMAZING. They give you a smooth ride and won't make your feet hurt.

  • they are jizztastic

  • i need support will these give me enough?

  • He has a silly band on

  • glad i got these over the zigtech

  • @SSJ2Starscream yeah the zigtechs are shit

  • great but, the black grip wears off onto floors makes a right mess

i have to use tape to stop them messing my floor. i love how they feel though, i have a pair for around the house,. just wish they wouldn't use the grip that leaves marks.

  • you know what I love best about these shoes?....no moveable tongue. I hate tongues

  • I have it great shoe.

  • what i hate is that people think these are like converse's, like disposable or something. mere images. NO! these are expensive running shoes that are for people who really run! the fact that people never run with these and rock them with their skinny jeans is just outrageous!

  • best shoe ive had in a while

  • Do i "HAVE" to run? or can i walk?

  • Are the girl and boy pairs the same I dont really see the difference in them like the black ones the boys ones look just alike the girl ones.

  • Comment removed

  • I would've gotten the free runs...but they were too mainstream on my XC team.

  • i loves these shoes.. seriously they make u want to run..

also i use to wear brooks beasts - they were so heavy in comparison, and even though have a lot of cushioning they were actually making my feet weaker.

  • I have a pair and they are the best running shoes iv had in a while. But they are kinda old so im looking to try out the lunarglide.

  • I just might try these,I'm a 4 year user of Vibram Five Finger shoes these look intersting.

  • The suck comparing with 5.0

  • what gender are the orange and blue nike free runs like in the video ?

  • This is like the only athletic shoe that isn't hideous.

  • Where the fuck can i get that color

  • @dferritto0530 nikeid

  • Can you wear these with no socks or is that not recommended?

  • @joshuatree1001 if your feet are still growing, then no. if they are not, then try them on in a few sizes first. i still prefer socks.

  • 1.-think

    2.- say

    3.-run

    4.-ever!

thumps up if you are agree

  • nike free have a raised heel so its not really a barefoot shoe

  • Vibram Five Fingers are good shoes for running and are more free feel and the closest you can get to barefoot running.

  • @IHSparkour but Vibrams have VERY little cushioning. The point of these is to give you that barefoot feel without the pain, fatigue, and damage that your feet would get if you were actually barefoot or running in Vibrams.

  • @1alex1m Actually Vibrams do absorb a lot of impact. They are definitely a minimalist barefoot shoe, meant for barefoot runners that want a little more protection or comfortableness for their feet, including the natural flexibility that the human foot provides. After using Nike free runs, while being a great shoe, its range in flexibility was only limited to the front of the shoe and the grip ran out pretty fast.

  • how long they remain new??

  • If it's a nike free than why is it marked at $85?

  • @joeVARADI you can get cheap prices from others!

  • @nikestoreau but it's free

  • @joeVARADI nike free means barefoots, not prices is free. wow

  • @nikestoreau Whaaat? I'm confused... so being barefoot is free but you have to pay for the shoes?

  • @nikestoreau He's obviously being sarcastic...

  • I was going to get these today. I just wish they were a little cheaper.

  • just got the kinvara 2 and i love this shoes, thanks for ur advice

  • @shortthunder6 is a wise person. My £75 Free Run+ 2s have been scrubbed and put in the washing machine and will be given to the RSPCA this week. Apart from the tread being quickly worn away, they look like new. Hope the animal-lover who buys them gives them to his dog to chew and doesn't actually try wearing them. I couldn't even walk in them in the end. All Nike 'Free' soles: DANGEROUS GIMMICK.

  • This is bowl shit it feals terrible they just look good get asics are something

  • i use this shoe for free running / parkour its really great for it but the bad side affect is tht when you wall run, cat leap or flip the traction of the shoe gets weaker :( i need parkour shoes!!!

  • @DemonFish00 Look up the Vibrum Fivefingers If you don't already have them. I love the grip it has. Great for wallups and wallruns

  • When used 4 running - 'Free' soles are a dangerous gimmick! The supple soles put a large bending force on the metatarsals & I soon felt a rheumatic ache, with occasional sharp twinges after a run.The aching was also in my ankle & up 2 my knee, due 2 lack of cushioning from the tough sole rubber (2 prevent them splitting between segments). There's no benefit of Free soles.Ur metatarsals will fracture B4 they've time 2 adapt.I had a constant dull pain for 8wk B4 giving up on them. Also, they've no grip!

  • @goatlps You probably didnt give your body time to get adjusted to the shoe. They are meant as a runner that strengthens your foot and helps improve the muscles in your feet. They say you should slowly adapt to the shoe. Im sorry you had pains but I have the Free Run+ and I love mine. I wouldn't run a marathon in them but as far as a shoe to help improve your speed and strength.... I say thumbs up!

  • @ClarkS1984 I did c.500 miles in my Zoom Jasaris last year, at 8.9oz they're not exactly bulky/heavy duty (with no solid plastic in the sole), so my feet should be ready for anything. I had no soft tissue pain, it was horrible dull pain 24hrs a day for over 2 months. All these trainers are good for is dancing/moonwalking, cos they're light and have zero grip. They might be ok for runners with Hobbit feet though. ;)

  • should i get this or asics gel blur 33?

  • @shortthunder6 Only get these if you want to carry your metatarsals around in a glass jar. Otherwise - get the Adidas AdiZero Adios, or the Saucony Kinvara 2 are also meant to be good. If you need the Nike+ sensor - get a Jivo sensor suit (holder) off Amazon. All the Nike+ trainers are either too heavy, or like these, a dangerous gimmick. Obviously, if you're doing 10 miles+ per week on tarmac you'll need heavier shoes (with thicker soles).

  • you know your a hater when your the only 1 who dislikes this video out of 35k

  • are these good for real long runs also or no?...im on the fence between these and the NIKE LUNAR ECLIPSE..... barefoot or no barefoot ?...

  • if i got this in white. would it be easy to clean? like the cloth parts as well?

  • Did they really have different midsoles/outsoles ? What mostly changed was the upper construction. Point is these have the + added to them, it has a different level of flex grooves and added cushioning- Why not change the name ? I respect your opinion on keeping it a 5.0, all I'm saying is if there's a difference then name it differently.

  • @Reaction03 They could have called it the Free 4.0 +.. Don't even get me started on the training line of free shoes...

  • are these good for sprinters that practice running up hills?

  • @SakuraSolidMarker these are definitely great shoes for building those intrinsic muscles in your feet and strengthening your legs in general. If you're running up mountainous terrain, then I would suggest a trail shoe, (pegasus+27 trail) giving you greater traction.

  • This shoe really is spectacular. I customized a pair and absolutely love them.

  • I have to say that this shoe is one of the best ones a ever put on., Is very confrotable and lightly shoe that can really help you move true every sport and I play volleyball and in my practices I never felt so free jump since I bought this type of shoe . Sow thanks Nike :)

  • Does any know if the "Nike Free run+2" a replacement to the "Nike free run 5.0 v4"??? Thanks :)

  • @richter325 Yes, and No.. The original Nike Free Run + were the replacement for the Free 5.0 V4. These are replacing the Free Run +, hence the name Free Run + "2" ... I really don't see why they didn't keep the original naming scheme, makes it too confusing IMO.

  • @adamdude15 the naming of the shoe changed due to the incorporation of the Nike+ capability that was not previously available in the other models (3.0 , 5.0 or 7.0 ). The shoe is virtually in the same barefoot level as the 5.0 although breaking away with the " + ", making it a first in the series. In my opinion I think it deserved it's own recognition.

  • @Reaction03 Mhm yes I agree it needed the "+" in the name, why cudnt they call it the "Nike Free 5.0 +" ?

  • @adamdude15 The midsole is not a 5.0 midsole, but very closely similar to a 5.0. Guess it was a marketing strategy.

  • @Reaction03 Yes, well the V1, V2, V3 and V4 all had different midsoles, so whats your point?

  • Yeah i just ordered Free 2's in red cant wait !!!!!!

  • will these prevent shin splints?

  • Funny. I had to order mine online. I didn't want to scout around stores around where I live for a size 14 shoe. I'm in 9th grade lol...

  • how are they different from nike free run+ ?

  • I'm looking for a comfortable, durable shoe that I can use for daily use. Is this a good shoe for these things?

  • @MultiSly21 it is extremely comfortable and durable enough. there is just not much support for your ankle. i wear it around everywhere and don't have a problem but if you want more ankle support do not

  • @MultiSly21 Yes and No, depending on how much distance your running per day. I use these shoes on my off days, basically on days which I run 2-3 miles. Since the Free's are meant to mimic barefoot running, the muscles on your feet are being worked out more effectively than traditional running shoes making this a shoe to use progressively as your feet get STRONGER !

  • lol. silly band.

  • Finally guys get nice colors, too!!!!! I have not purchased a running shoe in a while because the colors have been so dull. I guess, I will have to get this one. :-)

  • The new color are great!!!!! I love this Blue and Orange!!!

  • at about 1:50 is he wearing a sillyband???

  • @TheUitwisser he is lolz

  • Allyson Felix is beast and the shoes just make her better :)

  • shoe looks awesome, but this guy is so boring i wanna sleep

  • that color is for men btw :)

  • nike free run+2 is sweet and they are very comfortable. I like Free run+ not the second more though

  • where can we preorder?

  • is it lighter than the first version

  • first one is 8 ounces and this one is 9 ounces

  • i don't get why the women's shoe colour are better than men's

  • @jenova6669 this is a color for the mens

  • @jenova6669 this is the men's color

  • @jenova6669 because companies think women only want pink and purple shoes, which they obviously don't

  • @jenova6669 yea, yesterday i bought nike run but i dont realize it was a womens shoe but then i trade it to Nike Free Run 2

  • @jenova6669 tell me about it.....

  • i got mine today! $90 and its worth it

  • cant freakin wait

  • im preordering :D <- LIKE
