  • check once a month? i check mine once a week :)

  • ok, but What about the tire sizes?

  • my oil is fine, water, break fluid, all checked yesterday, but theres a warning light telling me to stop on the dash just below the speedometer............clueless i am.....i need new brake pads, would it be that or could it be tyre pressure

  • @MsOrlandos No, your car has no way of telling how much air is in your tyres!

Is your handbrake on? read the car manual and it will tell you what the picture on the dash means!

  • i got 50 thousand miles on my work van while using the max 80psi presure on tire.

rotating them about every 10 thous miles front to back. but we all know FORD vans alighnments suck..lol

  • OH that's how you do it, i kept put my mouth on the valve and started to blow.......

  • Tired of checking tire pressure? Try Quick Pressure tire pressure monitor caps (available from PSI 26 to PSI 165). Just replace your valve stem caps with the monitors, then the monitor will show green if the tire is properly inflated, otherwise it will start to show red. The monitors are welded, chrome plated brass, high quality.

  • omg i don't know how to read or understand any of the KPA/PSA or anything relevant but my car is warning me that my tire pressure is low T_T skipping school.

  • here a que? why use the presure on the car door? why not look on the TIRE itself?

i rather use this presure from the tire company then the door jam. i get great gas milage and tire milage seem to be great also. good even wear.

  • @Q4JULY33063 By using the maximum tire pressure, you'll get a harsh ride, reduced tread life, reduced traction, and reduced handling.

  • I know tire pressure is important for extending tire life, improving handling and ride, and improving fuel economy. But I cant ever find free air,and those coin-operated kind suck.Maybe i should get my own inflator?

  • don't forget to measure when tires are cold, not when its hot

  • @MrDiamondoz why is that?

  • Good Video ... but I saw some comments about the pressure listed on the tire ... DON'T use this ... this is the maximum pressure for the tire, NOT the recommended pressure.

Also the tire pressure label when damaged or ruined should be replaced. This can only sometimes be ordered by the manufacturer. There is only one other licensed and approved company to get them, ECSVin.com. Don't be fooled by others.

  • even if you dont have the original wheels. look on the tire itself. it should tell you the psi

  • yes yes this is all very interesting. but how do i find out what my tire pressure is supposed to BE!? *pulls out hair*

  • @GRIZZY1303 Just look at the sticker on the door.

  • it sucks if you bought ur car w out the original wheels that diagram on the door will be useless

  • Would be nice if you also told them when to check. ie, when the tires are hot or cold. It makes a difference.

  • checking right now

  • It looks like the valve stem on this car has a pressure sensor (pressure monitoring system) requiored on all new cars as of 2007 (model year). Therefore the computer should illuminate a light on the dahboard telling the driver that one or more of the tires is underinflated. You should still check your tire pressure regularly anyway as computers cannot always be trusted and can malfunction***

  • thanks, got it!

  • I'm going to check my car tires now

  • Thanks. Same reason as below. xD

  • me, too give me a HIFH FIVE!

  • Comment removed

  • same here...my girl just asked me to check her tire pressure on her car, didn't wanna look stupid.

  • you too man?!.....HIGH FIVE!

  • **SLAPS HAND, HIGH 5***

  • Thanks
