Gorgeous! Love the melody in my ears, just have to with the music with all my body. I can see that you enjoy playing, don't stop playing! thanks for posting terry.
Much appreciated Decky. Of course I am nowhere near the standard of the artists on your channel but I enjoy playing and that's always the most important thing.
Many thanks Nina. Maybe you mean "Scare the birds off the trees!!" LOL
I could hire myself out to local farmers as an audio scarecrow!!
My accordion has musette tuning which is suitable for Scottish, Irish and French music. It is not to everybody's liking because it seems that the top notes are a little out of tune.
Thank you for the kind comment. I really enjoy playing the accordion be it at a very basic level. I'm delighted that you enjoyed the music.. I enjoy listening to you play also.
As you can imagine, a complimentary comment from Ireland about my singing such an old ballad ~ makes double-impact in Southern California!
Have just listened to this truly excellent rendition of yours, on accordion, a second time ~ your playing it in waltz-time a contagious pleasure ~ Bravo!
Yes, Paddy, this song has been recorded by many from John Mc Cormack to The Wofe Tones. Glad you enjoyed it. Maybe you will do it on your box for us. It would be great to hear it.
Merci beaucoup Jeanne. I think that little song would make a nice valse irlandaise for your accordion! It's very simple and I would enjoy hearing you play it.
Yes Dar this is a lovely old song and when you put the words to it I think it is very meaningful. I'm not sure that I do justice to it but thank you for your kind comment.
Thanks for the nice comment Diane. When you put the words to the music you see how lovely the song is. On the other hand you could just waltz around the kitchen to the music!! LOL
I uploaded this fair ballad,it remnds me of my youth.....Thanks
