you can die when you take to many...because it is a depresent and will slow your breathing...if you take as prescribed unless your allergic you wont just die one die...however the biggest killer in the pain medication is actually tylenol...the human body cannot tolerate anything over 4000 mg of tylenol or so in a short period of time...so if you eat 10 vicodin 5/500 your kidenys could shut down and you will die...or just dont eat pills...
