A cheap piece of junk that costs 1 Euro to manufacture...

A simple diode that tries to trick the engine management to raise the rail pressure. All it does is to lower the return voltage from the fuel pressure sensor a little bit!

Speedhawk, AMH, cartuning4u.. same junk under different name.

Are you still making the crap that only manipulates the ground from the rail sensor? Or the "tuning-box" worth 4 cent that just manipulates the resistance of the fuel temperature sensor?

These "boxes" are not a "chip", and will never be.

These things just fool the ECU by manipulating one single signal. It´s pretty clear what will happen to the saftey monitoring systems, they won´t be able to protect the engine properly anymore.

They can cause dangerously high exhaust temps, clogged PF:s and lots of other things.

At first you will notice some extra torque, but after a while you will regret it when things start to break.

Let a good tuner reflash the ECU instead.

I´m sure it´s plenty of good Tuners in the UK who can flash/reprogram your ECU.

Just stay away from a "tuning box".

And remember, the expensive Toyota fuel pump isn´t designed for a pressure much higher than standard..

@a3519 You anti tune-box people are unbelievable sometimes. Yes a remap is better, Yes they are healthier for the engine BUT there is still a market for these tuning boxes. If your knowleagebase was a big as your mouth you would know that a lot of cars, despite being electronically controlled, cannot be remapped. Some cars don't have obd2 compatability etc, So for those people stuck between modern obdii cars and mechanically adjusted fuel pumps, these are the only option!

@a3519 Also yes some boxes are just cheap resistor tricks, But there are genuinely good quality ones that can be plugged into a PC and their adjustment values can be altered.
