@Scraight Last Man Standing was a remake of the Akira Kurosawa film Yojimbo (1961), which was also remade by Sergio Leone in A Fistful of Dollars (1964) and John C. Broderick in The Warrior and the Sorceress (1984).

@hazard224 Man I im glad this was a remake! Because I am a BIG Clint Eastwood fan as well as a Bruce fan, and when i was watching this, I was thinking A fistfull of Dollars! But it looks like A Fistfull of Dollars is a remake too so I'll have to check Yojimbo out! thanx!

This film reminds me of the Eastwood classic "A Fist Full of Dollars". Lone strangers hits and plays two rival crime-families off against each other until everyone's dead.

He probably means Fistfull, as this is much closer to a western then a samuri movie.

Plus the root of all these movies are classic american western and detective/noir novels written by Dashiell Hammett. Last Man is detecive/noir and Fistfull is western so in actuallity while they may be remakes of yojimbo they are in fact the closest movies to the source material that yojimbo ripped off.

@mrjoegangles Hey but you gotta amit, without Fistfull and Yojimbo...there wouldn't be a believable western/samurai movies. But I think that they should do a Urban/gangbanger remake.
