i have failed this 7 times so far two i was lvl 70 the others were 66 and 68
:/ im almost willing to let someone who knows they can beat it try it im really saddened its also my limit break fight so i cant go past 70 without it.
I have tried this fight twice and failed both times. All I can say is no raging fists whatsoever unless you are a mithra with freakishly high str and acc to pull off an awesome raging fists. Also, use shiva's claws, regardless of race or gear, and fight on ice day, paralyze does help considerably and activates very often. Anywho, good job Diexna and congratulations!
Oh and the reason why I used Raging Fists is because back when I did this fight, it was usually better then Howling Fist... it was before it got buffed, but considering I was standing in front of Shamarhaan he could guard me a lot.
lol you made me wanna level my PUP. Btw what's that little bar on the bottom of your screen? Says like tnl, mobs lvl, exp, etc. Any way I could get it? lol.
Hey i play on 360 and i cant find the option to put on the info on the bottom and how to get the % next to the person your fighting so you can know how close to being dead they are. If you could tell me that would be pretty sweet. Other wise great job man ^^
You're a brilliant pup, you probibly know this, but if you don't, Raging Fists is 5 seperate attacks, and pups normally have higher eva than the automaton, so when you were only doing 130-ish it was because not all attacks were connecting, lowering his eva and increasing your acc will change that.
The quests are pretty easy, just alot of running around.
Only 2 fights, AF1 (Turbo Animator) and one high lvl can easy take care of it, as for the last fight... you will need a whole party of 65-75 to take the automaton down.
The way Diexna chose to do this fight is very similar to the way BST handles their Genkai 5 battle.
Let the Automation tank and keep hate off you while you destroy your opponants Automation and then go in for the kill on the big guy himself.
The one difference here is that he only ever summons one pet and BST Maat can summon as many as he likes.

It's not a very good idea to use Raging Fists on Sharmahaan, he is a Puppetmaster and like you has access to a few Evasion Bonus job traits.
Therefore combined with Puppetmaster's C in Hand-To-Hand alot of hits will miss.
I'd of gone with a Howling Fist build ready to macro in.

You can't do that on 360, it's a plugin for the windows unofficial windower.

Oh I know that, but I was pretty much panicking trough the whole fight and har alot of problems deciding what to do.
Also he guards from the front, so it would help attacking from his back because he stops guarding your attacks.

Actually you can beat the automaton with a 70 war, 65 pld, 65 mnk, 58 smn, That is what I beat it with lol (I was the war >.>)

It's pretty easy.
You can only do 2 kinds, HP% and TP%, not MP, sucks :(
You need to be in range of the puppet so you can see his life bar and then you just type <pethpp> and <pettpp> and there you have it.
