Buddy Caldwell is finally being revealed as somebody who has as much business in the Attorney General's office as a three year old has playing with a lighter and gasoline.
this is absurd. i've known buddy caldwell my entire life and i have never known him to be anything but a compassionate defender of the public. this man should be ashamed of himself for alleging that buddy would say such things.

Alexander has overseen offices with budgets well in excess of $1 million, he has overseen offices with many employees, and he has worked in Louisiana politics at all levels. He has the experience and the integrity for the job.

He supported Foti in the last election, he is evidently close enough to Foti to have discussed the Pou prosecution with him prior to the arrest, and he was able to finagle a job for his son who works for Foti. Nothing like stabbing a friend in the back.

James Buddy ""I'm offering myself up to straighten this system out" Caldwell is the DA over a district that has 27,000 people and a an office with a budget of less than $800,000.00. The experience he claims to have makes for good sound bites but in reality he is not suited for the job.

Dan Kyle was testifying before the legislature at the behest of state and federal agencies who were shocked at Caldwell's behavior. Buddy Caldwell has a history of abusing his power. He is a scumbag.According to Caldwell, Kyle is "confused" about Caldwell's vulgar and abusive behavior and now Foti is "confused" that Caldwell got his son a political job in the AG's office by personally asking Foti to give the kid a job. Caldwell will ensure that Royal Alexander wins this first round.

The fact that your prediction Caldwell will ensure "not so royal" to win in the first round was a poor prediction and is consistent with your lack of knowledge of knowing either candidate for who they really are.
If lightweight political hack and sophomoric shakedown artist Royal Alexander is the best and brightest candidate the GOP could field for Attorney General, than the Party is in sad shape. If Dan Kyle's semi-coherent rant (before a legislative hearing investing DAN KYLE) is the darkest dirt Royal can dig on Buddy Caldwell, than DA Caldwell is a saint. The Party should have dumped this dangerous liability and supported DA Caldwell against Chuck E. Foti.
