it's simple: I'm Polish but I live in Germany (over 27 years now) I produce those videos for my wife and my son who learn Polish. I work in a high school as a media trainer so I ask my German students to help :D
i can speak good enough polish,i understand everything and i can talk about everything and i can even read. but Jesus...what a grammar.still i really love this language.Whenever i'm in Poland,( or with polish people) and can converse with locals, they are really surprised about an Italian speaking polish , the reward is great
I'm just a beginner in Polish (teaching myself) and I am very happy to have found this. It helps explain why the few words I've learned so far keep changing their endings. It is still not clear to me, but I think the verb use changes the endings of the nouns. I can't find anything that explains this clearly but this video gave me the biggest clue so far.
@lv21HumanNerd Co to jest to sa moje jajka :D kurde dawno sie tak nie usmialem ale nie tylko twoje jjka sa wszedie moje tez :D i jajka tego kolesia :D
There might be numerous irregular verbs but they can't all be irregular... every language has regular verbs that end in the same endings..... like in Portuguese.... the verb comer ( to eat) . it's regular because everyone knows that you take out the "er" and add "o" like I eat would be " Eu como"tu comes ( you eat) ele come (he eats) nos comemos (we eat) eles comem (they eat, regular verbs follows these endings in the present tense in Portuguese... surely in Polish there is some regular verbs?
I think you meant to say irregular "verbs"? And although I am familiar with the difficulty of the Polish language, I think that Chinese would be an even bigger pain in the ass. At least you can guess how to say some Polish words like butelka.... it'll take you a LONG time to even guess a sentence in Chinese.
@TubbyWilliams I have to disagree with you. Chinese only seems to be that difficult because of tones, but when you get a little into this language, there is nothing hard. Verbs are not really conjugated. Furthermore - whole Chinese gramma is easy. Unfortunately, we cannot say that about polish language at all. There is a dependency: polish people can speak all languages (can produce all sounds), no foreigner can get fluent in polish.
You just made a very irrational statement. Firstly, Polish people cannot in any circumstance "speak all languages fluently." I had a teacher who was Polish and she had been living in Canada for like 20 years and her pronunciation was terrible. She could not "produce all the sounds" in the English languages. It is all about one's abilities to learn a language. And by fluent you mean without an accent?
Check out this document (with Adobe) - there is a bit near the start which explains exactly how nouns decline. Be warned though, it's not as simple as just masculine, feminine and neuter!
@tessquestie its smart to judge an entire race based on one language video u kurva. and polish ppl are skinny rather than attractive. the girls have nice personalities. but when i was there a lot had bad teeth. and i saw a lot of teenage girls got slash marks on their wrist. i dunno if it was average but i was a bit shocked. well yeah the girls are beautiful and the polish guys so fucking ugly...
I don't really understand the instrumental case. From what I know, it states by means of or in what manner but how is it the instrumental case in "I admire my egg? What makes the sentence different from accusative "I see my egg"?"
I'm not entirely sure about the accusative case but instrumental is used at one point because the egg is being used as sort of a tool that is grasping your admiration. I know it says the actual translation below but zachwycam gives me the impression of like grasping/holding something since there are words with those meanings spelled similarly.
As for accusative its called the accusative use because your making an "accusation" or in other words asking a question which is where that form is used more often. I think instead of saying who? and what? for accusative it should say whose? and what? Dunno how much this helps but I hope it clarifies at the least SOMETHING or a little bit. (Btw I can speak polish fluently but never learned to read/write. Born in USA but raised speaking polish from parents)
This video is the best (the whole series, in fact)!! I love it thank you thank you thank you. All these nice people talking to their eggs, their bottles, their mugs, so that I might have a chance to learn to speak good Polish. What I like about the Polish language is how much Polish people love the Polish Language.
thank you for you comment, it makes me very happy and pump up a lot of fresh energy to produce more of it :D
and you are right: Polish people love their language. It's an interesting fact: Poland has won more Nobel prizes for literature than Germany - even if the literature tradition in Germany is huge and even if Poland had to struggle for it's existence through the nazi and communistic times in it's history.
Ehmm. It's funny xD To są moje jajka. Przyglądam się moim jajkom. So sorry. I fall off my chair haahah .

How many irregular verbs are there in Polish?

I don't really know and I have no idea where we could look for it. It would be good to ask this question on solarnet tv

All verbs are irregular, I think, because I am Pole.
Maybe they are regular, but very complicated.

Would all these declensions change if a word was not neuter? I mean like is there is pattern to so many different endings?

yes, please watch: kubek (masculin) and butelka (feminin) to compare
