mopeds don't have to have pedals idiot... a moped by definition is any 2 wheeled vehicle with a 50cc engine or less with a 30mph topspeed on level ground and has or doesn't have pedals that's the Legal definition look it up
@rangu66 Sorry I disagree with you on that as here in Ohio a moped has pedals and goes 40 mph or less and is 49cc or less. You also don't need a motorcycle endorsement either anything like this scooter 50cc or above you need a motorcycle license for and is classified as a scooter,so it depends on the state laws. Here in Ohio this bike would be classified as a 50cc scooter needing a motorcycle license.
@gruhonjic SAID "Just clearing it up at 2:09 you meant miles per hour, not galloon" BURT SAYS - Yes I did mean to say MPH. in mi the state im from anything above 125cc is conserd a motercycles and falls under motercycle laws. witch is good 125cc is a halfway decent non freeway moped. in ky where i live now anything above 50cc/35mph is a motercycle. they added the speed rectrection couse people where moding there 50cc to go fast enough for highway driving. so in ky you pretty mutch need a motocycle liance.
i want a moped for my 16th birthday really really badly! and ironically, you uploaded this on my birthday! July 22nd lol i guess it was just meant to be.
Do you have to balance on these like you do on a bike?
@trixiesant A Moped or Scooter (as some insist calling it) by legal definition in Michigan is <50 cc, so thy are all 49cc. They are not as peppy as a motorcycle, as they are made more for local travel and great gas mileage! Most get over 100 MPG!
@trixiesant Yes you can I recomend for your size a 50cc scooter go to a dealer or shop and sit on it and see if your feet touch the ground 50cc is for around town though if going on roads with speed limit of 45-50 you need a 150cc highway riding is 250cc and bigger also check your state license laws here in Ohio scooters need a motorcycle endorsment on your DL including 50cc but a moped does not.
Im thinking about buying a moped so i can hit the streets one year earlier than i would with a car. I am 15 and i am eager to get out into the real world. I told my friends that i am thinking about getting a moped but they are all saying its stupid.
Hey fellow Michigander!! I'm so obsessed with getting a moped. I live in Detroit and drive a dodge ram pick up, so something small and compact would be a treat, even if only seasonal- not to mention how fun it would be!! Hoping to make my purchase very soon, thanks for this vid!!
I bought a chinese bike and runs great. basically 150cc is good size. I bought mine for 600. You can get them for less then 1,000 from ebay. But beaware they might be very good bikes as long you change the chinese oil, fuel line, fuel filter, spark plugs and gear oil. Check out my video.
@IntenseSoldier In the States, each state is different. The first moped according to Wikipedia was a bicycle with an engine added to it, and so from a purist standpoint, there are no more mopeds.
@dkw12002 It certainly is a Moped. It's both a scooter and a moped. In Texas, this exact bike is on the list of certified mopeds. Get used to the description. Everyone I know uses the term moped to describe any 50 cc. motorized bike. What you are trying to do is say Puffs are not Kleenex, because Kleenex is a brand name, yet people use the word kleenex to describe any paper facial tissue. You are fighting a losing battle here. Moped is already in the lexicon as any small bike so embrace it.
@dkw12002 well kids have been strapping small engions to there bikes forever i did when i was a kid. so yes the orignal mopeds had peddels. of course the dmv had to classfy these bikes hence the word moped. and in most states there is no age restrection on the below 50cc models being most where built by kids. so many kids made 49cc bikes.
@ssj4goko4 Most states have a license requirement for mopeds. You usually do not need the motorcycle endorsement, but you usually need either a moped license OR a car drivers license to legally ride a moped. In most states you also need a license plate and the cost of that is usually the same no matter what the size of the engine. Would cops stop a 14-year-old on a motorized bike driving around in a neighborhood? Probably not, but in most states it is illegal not to have a license and plate.
@dkw12002 yea both ky and mi do not care to mutch abought them unless they go on the main roads or are speeding. yes some kids hear where suping up the 50cc to go above the max speed there allowed got in some truble.
a friend gave me that moped the pantera freedom, i dont know much about them, whos the maker? im having a hard time finding out how to get it fixed.... please help! thanks!!!
@TheMegaEnglishmuffin yea someone stole mine, they took the chain, lock, and everything. My advice is to keep it in the garage or the house if you don't have one. Also, you don't need a permit or license if its a 50cc. All you need is a DOT issued helmet.
hey i want one im 14 how old do you have to be to get a license to ride on the road i ride in motocross with my friends and just want ssomthing to get around faster thats legal
@stump773 In Michigan you don't need a motorcycle license if the unit is less than 50 cc's If you get a 150cc unit you will lose all of the money saving intensives of a moped or scooter.
yes, they are legal. you are able to drive on the road. there a real vehicle. just like a car, all the same laws. but you can only drive one person on them. you can only get up to 49 cc. and they go up to about 55 mph.
can you drive moped on the sidewalk or road, like can i drive it to my summer job or to the walgreens or grocery store? are these things legal, i need as much info as possable
depends on the state law. Where I live a 50cc moped does not need to be licensed or insured and must be drove on the road. You might need to be 16 to legally operate it. Anything over 50cc requires a motorcycle license and the moped must be licensed and insured. Call your local DMV to find out the laws in your state.
plus one on every house hold should have one thats what the stimulas package should have included I love my scoot I grew up in the great lakes state MIO
hey anyone or burt do you have to have a drivers license to ride one? I knew you didnt need insurance or a cycle license if it was 49cc or under, but i was just wondering if you needed a valid drivers license?
It goes 38 MPH on a flat surface with no wind. Up to about 50 with a hill and some wind :) !! It's 49 cc's, anything larger requires insurance & a motorcycle endorsement in Michigan (a real pain to get now, you have to attend a special school and pass tests.) When I got my CY endorsement all you had to do was pass a written test and ride around the parking lot at the secretary of state. Those were the days ALSO I mispoke when I said "38 miles to the gallon" I ment 38 MPH.
Although you have used some very harsh words it is true. You can be killed on a Moped, as well as the Moped killing a person in a car. When your number is up, its up. Its wise to be very aware of your surroundings, especially having someone pull out before you. I have ridden over 20,000 miles on 2 wheels without incident.
what area do you live and drive around? it does depend on the environment aswell. If your like me and live in the stix of georgia then its ok, but if your in london it's more likely for an accident.
I think my ped is the same make as yours possibly? Check out my video & tell me what you think....The head light is different maybe because the year 2006 is my moped.
my birthday is about 2 mounths and in sweden u just have to be 15 to drive this moped just take a licens and after 1 week u get ur driving licens and then u can drive :)
The Secretary of State (SOS) put you in a difficult position. You had to bring your motorcycle to the parking lot of the SOS to take the test before you got your license to ride legally. I took back roads to a few blocks from the SOS and then walked it into the parking lot to take the test. What did they expect you to do? It was dont ask dont tell, and Im not gay. BTW it past the statue of limitations if you want to prosecute me.
Oh! I live in the U.S. I drive one and Im 14(very responsible for my age btw). I am pretty sure you don't have to be 16 but I really am not sure. It's hard to figure the laws out exactly.
haha. It'll be worth the wait. Thre great. I love motorcycles and things with two wheels. I race dirtbikes so when I get on my moped it's a lot calmer than a dirtbike but it still gives you a great feeling. I am getting a Superbike when I turn 16.
Peds are a great way of getting around and are ideal for transporation. I myself have a 125cc bike and its great, real easy to ride, it comfortable, like most peds. I'd reccomend a ped to anyone.
I had one of the first mopeds,. looked like a bike, had pedals, and it was governed,. so i altered that,. and it went like 60mph,.They then made them have to be registered and insured, that killed it,.They are much more attractive now, and I found a site that sells them real cheap,. GM should look into mopeds, instead of the 2 person segway,. another failure,.I may actually buy one,. top of the line for 2k
Well thanks, i figure, its would just be a second vehicle like you said,. i have a main transport midsize,. and also, a classic fiat 124 spider, needs rest,. but for nice days,. just to mix it up a bit, wouldnt be a bad idea to have one of these,.Im strange to begin with
Hey, nice video! Thanks for posting it. A question please: I noted that the speedometer reads above 60 mph, but what speed can your machine comfortably cruise at?
About 35 MPH, but I'm heavy at 265 lbs... Most of them go 40, and in most states that is the speed limit for them anyway. It's comfortable at any speed
As far as brand, I can't say. Make sure they have been around . You want to be able to get parts. Price range is about $800 and up, with some for < $800 but I would not bother. BTW mine is still running fine, for the most part. Have some car problems I am attempting to figure out. It always starts cold, but when its run a while it does not want to start after being off for about 3 min+. I have to wait about 20 min for it to cool off then it starts, strange...
if you whant your scooter to be even more fuel efficient, durable and also a little bit more jumpy put a 70cc steel (not aluminium) cylinder and a open exaust on it (open exaust lets unburned gas back in the clyinder and heats to 90% - way more efficient). it comes very cheap. we did it on my cosins scooter and it works great and uses a lot less gas.
Sounds great. I assume you did it to a 2 stroke. I have a 4 stroke, mainly because performance and the smoke factor. Every time I dove a 2 stroke I would smell like burnt oil. What was the total time & cost of the conversion? Any interest in making a YouTube video about it?
Yep we did it on a 2 stroke. I can understand the smoke factor but preformance is better on a 2 stroke. However if you use a high quality oil like Motorex(i use this oil) you can mix the oil as low as 1% so there basicly is almost no smoke (except when is cold). Time of conversion was 5 (the moped guy was busy), i dunno about the cost, i just know it was quite low. I will however ask him. And while i'm there i just might film the moped and make a video.
I have checked and there are also 4 stroke kits. From 60cc - 90cc. They come quite cheap and are basicly the only thing you change. So the displacment is bigger but the carburator is the same so engine is de-tuned and uses less gas, but delivers more preformance. You should check you local "moped tuner".
Indeed that is true. My brother married a very nice girl from Cambodia and she has one over weight relative. She is held up as successful. Us Americans can learn alot if we would just step out of ourselves from time to time.
Actually neither is really true. I said I get about 120 miles to the gallon, and then miss-spoke, thinking people would figure out that I mean 38 MPH as I referred to a level surface and the wind at my back in the same paragraph. Thanks for watching, now you can listen to it too. Very few people have anything positive to say about a video that has a 4.5 start rating, they only nit pick at it. I just shot this in my backyard, put it up in about 2 hours, with a $0 budget, what do you expect?
Well that is obviously a personal decision that only you can make. However with the ever increasing types of Mopeds to choose from, and the fact that gas prices are escalating, then yes, the sooner the better in my view. You do need to be aware of the dangers. You are exposed to great bodily harm while riding a Moped compared to a 4 wheeled transportation mode of getting around. No cost savings can pay for your life, except if you want to interject Jesus Christ into your question.
I just purchased a 150cc scooter today , I love it so far , I look forward to getting up early in the morning when there is less traffic and zooming around town to get used to it !! Thanks for the overview !!
Nice moped you got there. It always makes me happy to see people enjoying mopeds and bicycles.
Agreed that if more people used mopeds, the energy crisis wouldn't be happening. The streets would be a lot safer to ride on too. Unfortunately, most just keep driving big vehicles.
i live in the u.k and i am 13 years old. I cant wait until i am 16 because i will buy a moped. Great video. thanks so much, i have been looking for a video like this because most of the videos is people posing with a badly done up moped with stickers and a stereo. nice moped, how much did this one cost?
In the UK, you need to be 16 to drive a 50cc, and 17 to drive up to 125cc.
you need to have a provisional driving licence (which pretty much anyone can get, sort of like a learners permitt) and then pass cumpolsary basic training - a 1 day course on how to ride a small motorbike (not a test, as you can't fail it). That lasts 2 years unless you have a full car driving licence.
I'm buying a 125 soon to replace my car. I cant afford parking, petrol, tax or insurance on it any more. I pay £40 a week petrol, £900 a year insurance, £120 tax and parking is a fiver a day.
This guy is right, if you look at the savings made over driving a car, it pays for itself. The best bit is that a lot of people drive them in the uk and europe. I imagine there is some stigma attatched to riding a moped in the USA?
Burt, not only has this video inspired me to purchase a moped, but I think this video is one of the best videos I have seen on youtube. The narration and cinematography are great, and its message will help make the world a better place. Thank you! If we were all vegetarians who drove mopeds this world would be very pleasant.
I live in Dallas Texas and gas around here is $395.00 for regular, however my Lexus takes premium so my cost is $4.19 pg. I enjoyed seeing and listening to your presentation. What type of Moped is it, it looks like something I am in the market to purchase. Also, do you know what the max weight is? When gas hits $5.00 pg, I am going to do my own personal form of protest by parking my Lexus and riding a moped!
in california u need to be 18 to get a license to drive! and we cannot have a lot of motor scooter ( sometimes called mopeds) because of pollution issues.
I suppose that is because of the 2 cycle engines being used on the first mopeds, the modern mopeds or scooters use 4 cycle engines and create incredibly low pollution and high efficiency. It would be nice to see more modern scooters on the road.
Wonder what the licensing requirements are in TN. In MA, you can drive a 50cc with your drivers license, anything bigger and you have to get your motorcycle license.
i got a early 90's honda elite. i have it modified with many racing parts so i get more performance out of it. its a 2-stroke so the gas mileage is not as good as a 4-stroke's. but even with all my racing parts i still get about 60 Mpg. i love this thing
Where I live anything over 49 CC (that is what this unit is) would require I get a Motorcycle License, insurance and crummy gas mileage compared to 125 MPG I get now. I'm in it for the savings, not performance.
Hey Burt, i have a question if you don't mind, Do people in Mich mind you mopeding? My mom says people hate mopeders and they will run me over. Thanks
I never had anyone try to run me over. I try to stay away from 2 lane roads, 5 lane roads give drivers plenty of room to get around. I also try to avoid rush hour. I always stay to the right of the road. I have not had any major problems after over 6,000 miles driven on my Scooter. My Scooter does close to 40 MPH so I keep up with traffic. More than likely your Mom loves you a lot and does not what you to get hurt, that is what mom's do, appreciate it while you can.
He said 30 mpg instead of 30 mph

stump773 1 year ago
@stump773 In Michigan you don't need a motorcycle license if the unit is less than 50 cc's If you get a 150cc unit you will lose all of the money saving intensives of a moped or scooter.
burtlesarge 1 year ago
@stump773
A moped is only 50 cc or less, any more than that and its legally a motorcycle, and you need a motorcycle licence to drive it.

grate video an in california.. i just got mine what if they steal it from me? how to lock it?
browntownrecordsllc 1 year ago
yes, they are legal. you are able to drive on the road. there a real vehicle. just like a car, all the same laws. but you can only drive one person on them. you can only get up to 49 cc. and they go up to about 55 mph.
penW1thled 1 year ago
can you drive moped on the sidewalk or road, like can i drive it to my summer job or to the walgreens or grocery store? are these things legal, i need as much info as possable
IanKusekSoloArtist 1 year ago
depends on the state law. Where I live a 50cc moped does not need to be licensed or insured and must be drove on the road. You might need to be 16 to legally operate it. Anything over 50cc requires a motorcycle license and the moped must be licensed and insured. Call your local DMV to find out the laws in your state.

When one purchases a scooter or moped one doesn´t buy, one invests. This video explains it well.

i have a mini moped that is a kid one i just drive to my freinds house and i spend like 3.00 per week and i go to the corner store
spoketoosoon99 2 years ago 3
Great video. I ride my scooter to work most days. I now pay about $2.10 per week on gas compaired to the $35.00 I used to spend with my car.
snwbm 2 years ago 26
Depends on the moped. Mine is a 4 stroke so you don't have to mix in oil.
burtlesarge 2 years ago
hey also due to the fact that i might be getting one, and liked yours what is the make and model of yours burt? and can you fit a passenger on yours?
simattic 2 years ago
They are no longer sold in the USA. It is not legal to have a passenger in Michigan, and not much room either.
burtlesarge 2 years ago
So you are saying in some places in America e.g Michigan you can't ride with passengers?
JoeyWildstyle 2 years ago
Correct. Only 1 person per Moped in Michigan.
burtlesarge 2 years ago
hey anyone or burt do you have to have a drivers license to ride one? I knew you didnt need insurance or a cycle license if it was 49cc or under, but i was just wondering if you needed a valid drivers license?
simattic 2 years ago
In Michigan you need at least an auto license, by no CY stamp (motorcycle). This is hard to get. I do have one though.
burtlesarge 2 years ago
It goes 38 MPH on a flat surface with no wind. Up to about 50 with a hill and some wind :) !! It's 49 cc's, anything larger requires insurance & a motorcycle endorsement in Michigan (a real pain to get now, you have to attend a special school and pass tests.) When I got my CY endorsement all you had to do was pass a written test and ride around the parking lot at the secretary of state. Those were the days ALSO I mispoke when I said "38 miles to the gallon" I ment 38 MPH.
burtlesarge 2 years ago
Although you have used some very harsh words it is true. You can be killed on a Moped, as well as the Moped killing a person in a car. When your number is up, its up. Its wise to be very aware of your surroundings, especially having someone pull out before you. I have ridden over 20,000 miles on 2 wheels without incident.

what area do you live and drive around? it does depend on the environment aswell. If your like me and live in the stix of georgia then its ok, but if your in london it's more likely for an accident.

wilkyman99 2 years ago
49cc i think, but they can go up to 149
ReassuringSmile 2 years ago
moped means 50 cc and under it can't go up to 149 it or else its called a scooter or a motorcycle
SonicXStyle 2 years ago
hey I learned something new.
ReassuringSmile 2 years ago
The Secretary of State (SOS) put you in a difficult position. You had to bring your motorcycle to the parking lot of the SOS to take the test before you got your license to ride legally. I took back roads to a few blocks from the SOS and then walked it into the parking lot to take the test. What did they expect you to do? It was dont ask dont tell, and Im not gay. BTW it past the statue of limitations if you want to prosecute me.
burtlesarge 2 years ago
In Michigan it means 49 CC or < 149 is a motorcycle and is no longer a moped.

Oh! I live in the U.S. I drive one and Im 14(very responsible for my age btw). I am pretty sure you don't have to be 16 but I really am not sure. It's hard to figure the laws out exactly.

oh well its different in the U.S in the uk you have to be 16 lol im not 16 till january long time away :(
SaammmJaammm 2 years ago
haha. It'll be worth the wait. Thre great. I love motorcycles and things with two wheels. I race dirtbikes so when I get on my moped it's a lot calmer than a dirtbike but it still gives you a great feeling. I am getting a Superbike when I turn 16.
Zootoxin1911 2 years ago
yea i cant wait :P a superbike when your 16 :O the U.S is amazing i wouldnt be able to get a superbike untill i was 18 i think because of law lol :(

Peds are a great way of getting around and are ideal for transporation. I myself have a 125cc bike and its great, real easy to ride, it comfortable, like most peds. I'd reccomend a ped to anyone.
InfectedMushroomHead 2 years ago
does this qualify as a motorcycle?and do you need a motorcycle licence to operate this machinery or just a regular licence
Xbox36te 2 years ago
no. if its under 50cc. and you just need a regular license and register it.
icerocks23 2 years ago
I had one of the first mopeds,. looked like a bike, had pedals, and it was governed,. so i altered that,. and it went like 60mph,.They then made them have to be registered and insured, that killed it,.They are much more attractive now, and I found a site that sells them real cheap,. GM should look into mopeds, instead of the 2 person segway,. another failure,.I may actually buy one,. top of the line for 2k
TheLivingDeadOne 2 years ago
Yeah, one big problem is rain, heat & cold...
burtlesarge 2 years ago
Well thanks, i figure, its would just be a second vehicle like you said,. i have a main transport midsize,. and also, a classic fiat 124 spider, needs rest,. but for nice days,. just to mix it up a bit, wouldnt be a bad idea to have one of these,.Im strange to begin with
TheLivingDeadOne 2 years ago
Hey, nice video! Thanks for posting it. A question please: I noted that the speedometer reads above 60 mph, but what speed can your machine comfortably cruise at?
keyboardartist 2 years ago
About 35 MPH, but I'm heavy at 265 lbs... Most of them go 40, and in most states that is the speed limit for them anyway. It's comfortable at any speed

im 18, I have a car, but i'd prefer a moped... what price range should i look into? what company should i go with? thanks! =]
KirbyPwnz13 2 years ago
As far as brand, I can't say. Make sure they have been around . You want to be able to get parts. Price range is about $800 and up, with some for < $800 but I would not bother. BTW mine is still running fine, for the most part. Have some car problems I am attempting to figure out. It always starts cold, but when its run a while it does not want to start after being off for about 3 min+. I have to wait about 20 min for it to cool off then it starts, strange...

burtlesarge 2 years ago
if you whant your scooter to be even more fuel efficient, durable and also a little bit more jumpy put a 70cc steel (not aluminium) cylinder and a open exaust on it (open exaust lets unburned gas back in the clyinder and heats to 90% - way more efficient). it comes very cheap. we did it on my cosins scooter and it works great and uses a lot less gas.
simon1234simon 3 years ago
How much did it improve mileage? From what to what? Hate to sound negative, but it seems like a lot of work
burtlesarge 3 years ago
Sounds great. I assume you did it to a 2 stroke. I have a 4 stroke, mainly because performance and the smoke factor. Every time I dove a 2 stroke I would smell like burnt oil. What was the total time & cost of the conversion? Any interest in making a YouTube video about it?
burtlesarge 3 years ago
Yep we did it on a 2 stroke. I can understand the smoke factor but preformance is better on a 2 stroke. However if you use a high quality oil like Motorex(i use this oil) you can mix the oil as low as 1% so there basicly is almost no smoke (except when is cold). Time of conversion was 5 (the moped guy was busy), i dunno about the cost, i just know it was quite low. I will however ask him. And while i'm there i just might film the moped and make a video.
simon1234simon 3 years ago
I have checked and there are also 4 stroke kits. From 60cc - 90cc. They come quite cheap and are basicly the only thing you change. So the displacment is bigger but the carburator is the same so engine is de-tuned and uses less gas, but delivers more preformance. You should check you local "moped tuner".

In many places in the world, "fat chicks" are looked up to, as it is a sign of wealth.
burtlesarge 3 years ago
Indeed that is true. My brother married a very nice girl from Cambodia and she has one over weight relative. She is held up as successful. Us Americans can learn alot if we would just step out of ourselves from time to time.
KeeperofTheMountain 3 years ago
u first say you get 150 miles to the Gallon then you say 38 to the gallon o_0
MediocreAussie 3 years ago
Actually neither is really true. I said I get about 120 miles to the gallon, and then miss-spoke, thinking people would figure out that I mean 38 MPH as I referred to a level surface and the wind at my back in the same paragraph. Thanks for watching, now you can listen to it too. Very few people have anything positive to say about a video that has a 4.5 start rating, they only nit pick at it. I just shot this in my backyard, put it up in about 2 hours, with a $0 budget, what do you expect?

LAEentertainment 3 years ago
Well that is obviously a personal decision that only you can make. However with the ever increasing types of Mopeds to choose from, and the fact that gas prices are escalating, then yes, the sooner the better in my view. You do need to be aware of the dangers. You are exposed to great bodily harm while riding a Moped compared to a 4 wheeled transportation mode of getting around. No cost savings can pay for your life, except if you want to interject Jesus Christ into your question.

Nice moped you got there. It always makes me happy to see people enjoying mopeds and bicycles.
Agreed that if more people used mopeds, the energy crisis wouldn't be happening. The streets would be a lot safer to ride on too. Unfortunately, most just keep driving big vehicles.

If you can, get a geared 125 motorbike, like the honda CG125 or the Yamaha YBR125, much nicer then a 'ped
Warrior2691 3 years ago
Depends on where you are. Legally any two wheeled vehicle with an engine less than 50cc is considered a moped where I am.

dragonaol53 3 years ago
In the UK, you need to be 16 to drive a 50cc, and 17 to drive up to 125cc.
you need to have a provisional driving licence (which pretty much anyone can get, sort of like a learners permitt) and then pass cumpolsary basic training - a 1 day course on how to ride a small motorbike (not a test, as you can't fail it). That lasts 2 years unless you have a full car driving licence.
gloucesterharry 3 years ago
I'm buying a 125 soon to replace my car. I cant afford parking, petrol, tax or insurance on it any more. I pay £40 a week petrol, £900 a year insurance, £120 tax and parking is a fiver a day.
This guy is right, if you look at the savings made over driving a car, it pays for itself. The best bit is that a lot of people drive them in the uk and europe. I imagine there is some stigma attatched to riding a moped in the USA?
gloucesterharry 3 years ago

WizzardSorcerer 3 years ago
I suppose that is because of the 2 cycle engines being used on the first mopeds, the modern mopeds or scooters use 4 cycle engines and create incredibly low pollution and high efficiency. It would be nice to see more modern scooters on the road.

Hey Burt, i have a question if you don't mind, Do people in Mich mind you mopeding? My mom says people hate mopeders and they will run me over. Thanks
V3ngeanceAssassin 4 years ago
I never had anyone try to run me over. I try to stay away from 2 lane roads, 5 lane roads give drivers plenty of room to get around. I also try to avoid rush hour. I always stay to the right of the road. I have not had any major problems after over 6,000 miles driven on my Scooter. My Scooter does close to 40 MPH so I keep up with traffic. More than likely your Mom loves you a lot and does not what you to get hurt, that is what mom's do, appreciate it while you can.
