This game had clunky controls and screen views, and sometimes Batman would make tiny leaps off the ground or not attack, especially near walls or edges. But, it was pretty fair in terms of lives and where you respawn and some bosses have strategies. For instance, the stage two boss has a blind spot right between his head and tail (usually right in the middle of the window where he starts) but you have to stand perfectly still and time him when his head rises. Otherwise, you can lose many lives.
I loved this game so much as a child. it was one of those games that you have a hard time at one point and your parents were able to help you with it and they would play this game with me. and i had trouble on the mr freeze level and they actually beat it for me haha! Thanks a million for the upload 10/10
This video is great, brings back memories of my childhood 13 yrs ago when i used to play exactly this game series in my black game gear, but unfortunately, I lost the game cartridge.
Also, the Game Gear was just the technology behind the Master System packaged into a portable. That's why SMS emulators can usually play GG games and vice versa.

What made you think I didn't know this? I said it in the video! Everyone is obsessed with telling me obvious shit I already know.

Sorry, my brain was kinda half-asleep and I was paying more attention to the gameplay. Good video and good game, though.
BTW, how can you record stuff from emulators that have no recording features? This is something I may need to do in the near future....

I used hypercam, which I also mentioned :P
