To be honest my patience has been tested with a few atheists...not all atheists are spiteful, you can actually have an intelligent debate with some of them without the personal attacks from either side.

That's a horrible over simplification. The idea that the universe's components of energy and matter (which we can verify can't be created or destroyed) have always been makes more sense than to stand back in awe and say, "I can't figure it out, so a god must have done it!" To be honest my patience has been tested with a few atheists...not all atheists are spiteful, you can actually have an intelligent debate with some of them without the personal attacks from either side.
I think the best way to deal with the real hardcore atheists who make personal attacks is to do what Jesus would do in a similar situation...kill them with kindness and love.

That's a horrible over simplification. The idea that the universe's components of energy and matter (which we can verify can't be created or destroyed) have always been makes more sense than to stand back in awe and say, "I can't figure it out, so a god must have done it!" Claiming "a god" answers nothing, it only complicates things and makes less sense. Where did your god come from? Nowhere? The only problem with this is that it goes for both sides. There are thiests who are bullies, spell bad, swear/simple insults (such as calling athiests gay), and their are theists that are good at debating.

The message in this video is so bias. Some people are just jerks, and they make up both sides of the spectrum. There's plenty of mean theists out there. Personally I think TAA is pretty mean. Always labeling people, and in negative ways. (this video.) I mean look what happened to venomfangx for being such a dishonest jerk. Question: Why do theists usually point out intelligence as a cheep tactic in arguments? Is it because the tree of knowledge is the root of all evil to them?

Religion was bashed into me wether I wanted it or not as a child.
I am atheist because I wasn't allowed to make the descision for myself.
I believe religions do that on a daily basis, you know, take away peoples freedoms like that.
If you're religious then you're against free will, and surprise surprise, religious dogma is ALL about ignorance and ignoring the facts that our beautiful world is made up of.

Actually, the attacks on the person's intelligence are not attacks but directly observed from your video.
For example, if a theist says "If big bang is real, why are planets round instead of jagged."
In this specific case, we would be justified in saying the person was scientifically illiterate. His actions show as such.
Or for you, where you use stereotypes to broadly brush all Atheists as using "hidden hate".

Hmmm i will be your one exception. I am an atheist i became one after really studying the Bible, History, Relgion and Science but i am not a militant atheist. I do NOT agree with the atheists who project an intellectual superiority over theists as that in itself is an act of emotion and it is logic that makes me atheist. I debate logically and respectfully because when you bring in emotion and belittle your opponent you lose credibility in their eyes and that is countermand to your goal.

The reason not-so-intelligent atheist are lashing out with ad-hom attacks might be fear. Not intellectual fear, but fear that literalists will act upon verses in the bible that clearly advocate some pretty sick stuff and people that just pick the good parts are unknowingly enabling fundies to have a safe zone where they can act on their craziness to get laws passed that halt the progression of our western democratic society. I fear these things, but I use actual arguments and not fallacies.

If this statistic is still correct, 75% of Americans claim to be Christian. They can definitely sway votes in their favor and keep any Atheist from being elected to office. Atheists are a minority, but at 16% of the population that's more than blacks, gays, NRA members and more and these groups have more of a voice in America and can get elected to office much more easily than Atheists.

i've been a christian, turned deist, turned agnostic. been through all the motions,
even tried to earn 10 000$ and give half to the church collection plate to help the poor.
which failedi only managed to earn 20$
but i still gave 10$ to the collection plate.
i used to sing along with jesus freak, and generally thought jesus was the nicest guy in the world.
well, i still don't mind jesus' sayings too much but i don't feel most christians follow his sayings either.

Firstly, adhom by itself is worthless venting (common in atheist one liners), but circuitous rhetoric is just as worthless for the purpose of debate or constructive criticism. You'd have to be joking, if you think atheist literacy is bad by comparison to creationist. Anger is to be expected when your beliefs are unjust and contradict the reasonable moral and logic standards. Ridicule may not convince the subject, but point out what's worthy of ridicule.
