Some time I ask my self as to how I attracted towards the old and classical songs of this subcontinent. Then I get an answer that rythm is in nature. We can not segregate ourselves from it. We are convinced that we are a peacefull being and a beautifull being. We all seek peace and purity in our daily life. When we turn the page and goes back to our olden days, we still remember that we had that pure culture. That is why purity and peace in our melodies attract us so strongly.(12th Nov.2010)
raag darbari plus ustad feteh ali khan plus zahida perveen plus rasheed attre is eqal to this CLLASIC AND EVER GREEN COMPOSITION OF PAKISTAN FILM INDUSTRY
Been looking for the video to this fave song of mine for 30 years. I heard it on a local UK Asian radio station but just missed recording the intro. I found the full song on a kind gent's site more recently & heard the full version for the first time.
I think it being a Pakistani movie rather than an Indian one made it almost impossible for me to get way back in the ealy 80s when Asian videos were becoming popular.

Am a youngster and a big fan of Ustad Fateh Ali Khan and Zahid Parveen jee but seriously cannot recognize Ustad's voice in this song.
Despite that, what a composition in Darbari matched by both the vocalists. Par excellence

Does anyone know if Zahida Perveen is related to Shahida Perveen? The female voice sounds very much like young Shahida Perveen. Thanks
