I have listened to AIC since I was in my teens. I am now 37 and excited as hell to see Jerry back out there. I think he could have been the front man and many fans would have liked that. However, DuVall honors Layne by keeping his vocal style without trying to be a copy. Give the new AIC a shot. For Jerry. He is still the AIC AX GOD.

I saw this live, and it was awesome. While A Looking In View sounded like it came from the self-titled Alice album, this sounds a bit like the band going back to their roots. More similar to the stuff on Facelift.
Layne is my absolute favourite singer ever, but after seeing that show I'll be completely honest - Duvall is amazing. This guy is NOT getting enough credit. He is a brilliant singer and a perfect match for the band now that Layne is gone. He fits them like a glove.
Thanks for sharing this. Sounds great to me. I'll always miss Layne, nobody can sing like he could, but at the same time, the best way for him to be remembered is for the band to go on, and of course they are still good musicians in their own right. I'm looking forward to the new album!

I saw this live, and it was awesome. While A Looking In View sounded like it came from the self-titled Alice album, this sounds a bit like the band going back to their roots. More similar to the stuff on Facelift.
Layne is my absolute favourite singer ever, but after seeing that show I'll be completely honest - Duvall is amazing. This guy is NOT getting enough credit. He is a brilliant singer and a perfect match for the band now that Layne is gone. He fits them like a glove.

Thanks for sharing this. Sounds great to me. I'll always miss Layne, nobody can sing like he could, but at the same time, the best way for him to be remembered is for the band to go on, and of course they are still good musicians in their own right. I'm looking forward to the new album!

Sounds awesome.. AIC is not the same without Layne, but I still like the new stuff. Like Check My Brain more than A Looking In View though. I really want to hear the studio version of this!
