-was it daytime?

well when i shot this video it was between 8 PM and 10PM

and to answer te second question yes it can b seen from other countries considering that i shot this video in CANADA!

I actually have never gotten a better look at a lunar eclipse, Its always cloudy, or I forget, but there were enough breaks in the clouds that I got a good look at it. videos dont do it justice.
