I have this laptop but with the SU2300 cpu. Acer has a problem in that the battery discharges 5-6% per DAY even when the laptop is completely off. Pulling the battery, it doesn't lose any power so it's the laptop itself that is pulling power even when off. Charged mine last Sunday, 6 days later I power it up and it's at 64% charge. Others are noticing the same thing.
Test it yourself. Charge it to 100%. Leave it off. Wait a couple of days, turn it on and see how the battery is discharged.
