I completed the WHOLE game again yesterday and I missed 2 camera, I did this today and I finally did it and I was so happy just as I was about to get the last camera and then this came up on the bottom of the screen 'Camera Shy - 5G'

You could probably do several achievements at a time if you're attentive enough, and are willing to take the time. But some require relapsing.

Thanks for this, I had missed the last two, I couldn't figure out which two I missed, but the last two are in an area where I got stressed over timing those platforms and totally forgot to check for cameras.

i'm pretty sure that i got all the cameras showed in this video, yet there's 4 more cameras to go! what the hell's up with that?

my guess is that the four hidden cameras in chamber who-knows-what need to be thrown into the fire pit. i'll be tesing that out tomorrow...

@evowarrior5 The cameras in the video are all the one you have to knock down to get the achievement. There are other cameras in portal, but those have a black background where portal can't be placed, and therefore can't be knocked down...

dont know why it didnt work the first time, but if u walk through all the levels again and knock off all the cams, itll probably work.

i actually tried to knock down a black-wall-mounted camera and did in the room where you got camera 29 there is another one by the cube and if u use an object to deflect the energy ball just right you can knock it down

I just did it on 360 following this vid and got the achievement fine. Just slow down a bit and make sure you get all cameras in each chamber before you go to the next one.

You have to start from the beginning of the game and get them all in one playthrough. Once you get the last one though, the achievement will pop up and then its ok to quit. You don't have to beat the game, just get all the cameras.

Well, it all depends on your computer, graphics, and the system requirements.

There's a command you can type into console called "net_graph 1", which will display your current fps. I get around 30-60 frames per second with an Nvidia 5700 graphcis card with a 2.2 GHz processor on near max settings, but then agin it's different for different computers.

Another way to record Portal is to user the Source Recorder, which will give you much better video quality than FRAPS ever will. Google it.

but what about the cameras in chamber 00 and 01??? i used sv_cheats 1 and impulse 101 to just get the portal gun and to destroy them AND these cameras counted...

but in the final chamber all that i get was 32/33 cameras ...

You don't need to destroy the cameras in chamber 00 & 01. I haven't tried using sv_cheats, but the game might of just spit in your face and said "no, you're not going to get the achievement...."

Follow the guide starting @ Chamber 2, and you should be fine...
