Back in 1980. we thought this was a real high-tech vid...THERMAL imaging?? Wow...that was normally used for cold-war espionage...complete with the CRT flicker...couldn't see it in the flesh, but then used to inexplicably show up on film...lol
I'd like to see this without the thermal. Any idea what's going on? Obviously the Stones performing but the dancers... look like strippers? Also, a guy (?) doing some crazy shuffle dance at the end?
I must be stupid trying to watch this, but I like the song so much that when I found it I went straight to it, even after I read the warning. Well, at least I know where to go on YouTube if I want to induce an epileptic seizure again. My son found me frothing at the mouth and drooling on the floor with this video playing and after I came out of it he asked,"did you enjoy your LSD flashback dad?"
@cheswic Fuckin' A man! LOL Wasn't that a beaut? And here I am, back again, ready to do the "rubber chicken fuckstick flop" across my basement floor. Talk about masochistic huh?
@heru1966 I thought Bill Wyman did a heck of job on bass on this song..until I read in his book that Ronnie played bass on it :( Still a great bass line.
@heru1966 I agree. I also always thought that Bill was excellent on bass on this song....until I found out in his book that its Ronnie playing guitar.
I'm epileptic and although strobes do not effect me, I did notice the warning on this video and want to say how thoughful that is to post. You may have saved someone's life. As far as the Stones tho....the greatest rock band of all time..they invented Sex, Drugs, and Rock and Roll!
@Keithaholic1 The only live version I ever saw on a album was their 1981 live box set. To this day I have never heard of them ever performing it live.
Song reminds me of having sex on red plush bedding surrounded by mood lights and smoke. I always thought this was a Bill Wyman bass line...it was actually Ronnie Wood playing it.

@missasegei That's good that someone else thinks so. I had been looking for this CD since the Universal remasters came out in '09 everywhere and finally found it yesterday. I love when artists make a 180 turn in their music and the Stones did that on this CD by doing some disco tracks.

Unfortunately this song no longer works for me, because:
1. Mick is literally crying in some of the verses (e.g. "Yeah, the other night/Crying/I was crying ... Yeah, like a child ..." etc.)
2. Until before the end of the song, he gets his Barry Gibb on.
