  • You are amazing! keep up the hard work :)

  • very good. as a HS freshmen, hearing this is great for learning the piece, and i enjoy hearing a very talented horn player.

  • It sounds really really good! I'm working on Mozart 4 for my jury this semester.

A big comment I'd suggest is a shorter tongue at the beginning of the 3rd movement, to match the style of the orchestra a little bit more. And a little bit more of a consistent airflow.

  • muito bacana o son desta trompa

  • What power he has! I hope he is still playing!

  • I think the reason some say the dynamic range is missing is due to the camcorder, not the horn player or orchestra. Most camcorders use AGC (Automatic Gain Control) which automatically adjusts the recording level to normalise it, so everything automatically sounds the same.

  • Thank You For This...Gift From God, His Musical Talent that is like a blooming rose. He has so many more years to hone his craft - already he is performing miracles...this child does MORE then play notes, he creates music and knows the nuiances of his instrument. "David Nagy 85" apparently is speaking for a place of jealousy

  • i love rondo, playing it for my solo:)

  • He needs to learn how to feel the music instead of playing it note by note.... i am jealous of him because i cannot afford to buy a french horn... i was really good and could have gone pro

  • @crazyyd0g vuy one off ebay then...?

  • not much musicality

  • excellent!

  • The french horn sounds so, regal.

  • hey, its jackson from MGS is u can remember me lol

  • DaRaawk hey who gives a cuss if he is too young..!!! did you know that a five year old composed a piece of music and its now famous? anybody can be a musician, dispite their age! and don't let anybody tell you otherwise!

  • good player, but a bit young to be a musician .he has amazing skills to improve. i agree with DavidNagy85 time will solve the matters coming from his age. if he continues he'll become a really good horner.

  • Horner? Lol, never heard us called that before

  • he just owned me on a solo that ive been working on for about two years

  • Yes, he is a good horn player, but he has to learn how to play music..how to organize the structures, how to play a melody, how to start a beautiful single note and so on...He learnt the piece well, without thinking aboute it. But it's normal, he's young. The time will solve these problems.

  • Could not agree more.

  • very amazing but seems to be a bit rushed at times but still amazing

  • I wish I was a prodigy! Because he certainly is.

  • Prodigy or not, this was made with his heart, not his brain.

  • The heart is what pumps blood. It came from his brain.

  • play the rondo a bit less edgily and that is pretty much perfect......well done.

  • the cadenza if much biger than he played

  • Not 2 b cynical, but if u go 2 5:33 and watch his mouth, the music plays while he isn't playing. Is this just my imagination??

  • I think it's just your imagination :P

  • There is two french horn behind in the orchestra. So during the solo has a cut note, behind, the others french horners keep the note... (it's hard to explain, I'm french.. :P)

  • @Clokaaart omg mee too!!!!!!!!!

  • @weareshortandgreen What ? I even don't understand what I wanted to mean...

  • i think its just a glitch in the vid. but i noticed it too

  • wow genial.

  • Wow! Good work for such a young player.

    Expect great things from him...

  • oh i have the holton 378. and omg i hate the sluring it just messis my tune up i manage to get from a to like a low c but other then that im an ok player

  • i can do that too only i play a Holton 378. but nicely done !!!

  • Go Jeffrey!! Nice Playing!

  • so how do you get to do something like this? is there some kind of contest or something?

  • BRAVO!

  • incredible amazing i cant describe what does this young man is doing

keep likes this man and you will be the best off the horns

  • cool!

  • how old is da soloist?

  • nice word dude

  • I'm working on the Rondo (the second one he played) for solo & ensemble, it's really fun to play.

  • I'm thinking about doing Romanza or Nocturne.

  • its funny, all horn players seem to struggle with the octave drop around measure 11, from myself, to Jeff, to the great Barry Tuckwell. all recordings I have ever heard do it. great job!!! it sounds amazing. esp the thirty-second note low Bb part near the cadenza!! phenomenal performance! keep it up!!

  • they have the wrong mouth piece then i suggest a denis whck 5n has wonderfull tone and tounging

  • where could u get it? i can only use holton shizz
