  • I am a proud Jazz fan from birth!!! D-will MVP, MJ pushed off yes, AD, Stock, Karl, Pistol yeah everything

Fish was a good addition to our team, but really.... Jazz fans who cares why a player leaves. If he says it was for the health of his daughter then I believe him. He's a perpetual ambassador to the game, a good guy. I hate when a few horrible fans give the rest of us a bad reputation.

  • Honestly, why are people in Utah so butt hurt???? He's a bench player at best, he just works well in LA's system so he starts. Who cares where he goes, get the fuck over it!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • if derek leaves L.A for miami and doesnts want to 3 peat he will be a BITTCH!

  • deron williams is 10 times better anyway. it worked out good for us.

  • @IC4L oh, is that why the lakers beat you guys yesterday

  • @IC4L cool, too bad the lakers sweeped utah. 4-0.

  • @IC4L

    haa. you fail

  • I hate how Utah fans booed him (Im a Utah fan) We have no proof that he made it up or any sort of shit like that. It was uncalled for to boo him.

  • I remember some of those booing sessions, but the worst of it was when a few kept shouting that he was a traitor. How was he a traitor? He played for the Jazz for one season and provided leadership the Jazz have not seen since Stockton/Malone. and, in the end, he went back home to Los Angeles, where he spent '96-'04. If anything, the Laker fans had more right to boo him than the Jazz fans did, particularly when he left for Oakland after the 2004 NBA Finals.

  • @joecraine69shimself

he is dude open your eyes. his daughter was treated in new york. so he goes to LA for better care. Utah is closer to new york than la is for shure. and primary childrens hospital is one of the best childrens hospitals here, he took the cheap way out. and he did not show leadership since stockton and malone. god your a retard

  • @XXXDJH101Xx When call someone a retard you should probably remember that it's YOU'RE A RETARD, retard. YOUR a retard makes no sense as it refers to something that is of me or belongs to me, idiot. On the issue of the "Fisher betrayal", it's best to remember that in terms of flight times and connections SAlt Lake is only slightly closer to NYC. LA has LAX, which has far more available flights and carriers for Fisher and his daughter. There are also other airports in the metro area as well cont

  • cont. Third, LA also has some damn good facilities, albeit for people with money, such UCLA's Hospital to name just one of many. And if he can't the specialist he needs there, then he can hop a flight just to the north in the Bay area and get a specialist from UCSF or Standford Medical, where they have a top notch facility. And last, the Jazz ownership allowed Fisher to step away from his contract. Remember that when he went to LA the team was barely a .500 playoff team that Kobe wanted out of

  • @XXXDJH101XXX Now in regards to the Leadership factor, well I base that on the fact that the Jazz players themselves have said what his leadership meant to that 2006-07 team. I catch Jazz games on League Pass, so I've heard it from the horses mouth. Plus the proof is in the pudding as the Jazz have not gotten as far as they did in that playoff since Stockton/Malone.And since his departure the Jazz have have not anywhere near as far with every subsequent year being ended by the Fisher and the LAL

  • @joecraine69shimself

ok, but utah is still closer to new york were his daughter was treated than la is

  • @XXXDJH101XXX Again, it seems you missed what I spelled out for you. It's only two states over, but vastly better direct connections than Salt Lake City has. And in terms of flight time, it's not that much of a difference.

  • @joecraine69shimself whatever you say

  • @XXXDJH101XXX Of course, shitwit. Next time know a little bit more about the facts and come up with a better argument than the one I obliterated. In the meantime, LA Lakers 3 straight Finals, Back to back championships, and 3-0 in playoff contention since Fisher left. That's what leadership does.

  • @joecraine69shimself dude go fuck yourslef

  • @FreeBallenHulk

ya it was he moved to la for better treatment for his daughter being treated in new york utah is closer to new york than la and we have a great one of the best children hospitals here

  • Derek i think all Lakers fans will agree with me when i say that we welcome you with open arms.

And ofcourse we wish you the best for your daughter well being. May God Bless you and your family.

  • Thanks for a great season, D-Fish.

  • Damn its sad to see D-Fish leave the game. He is a classy guy and a true professional. I think what he did was the best for his daughter. Thanks for giving us those great moments :)...

  • he didnt leave the nba, he is playing on the lakers next year genius, he just left the jazz his daughter had eye surgery from cancer and she is healing

  • What a man! I wish the NBA had more guys like him. For me as a Jazz fan it's sad to see him go, but there are far more important things in life than basketball, and caring for your daughter is one of them.

  • he didnt stop playing, he is on the lakers now...look it up

  • I know that. When I said it was sad to see him go, what I meant was that it was sad for me to see him leave Utah. It wouldn't have surprised me if he were to sign with another team.

  • Derek, we will miss you! Take care homie! And i wish the best with your family! ( especially your kid! )

  • Derek Fisher is the most professional NBA player ever!!!!Enough said. Laker fans miss you and we will welcome you back with open arms dude!

  • i wish you and ur family well....DEREK FISHER!!!
