They really need a Battlefront-type Metroid game. One side has Space Pirates, the Pirate types depending on the map. The other side would have GF troops. The heroes for the Space Pirates would be Weavel, Ridley, and Kraid. The heroes for the GF would be Samus and some of the Bounty Hunters from Corruption.

Alright, heres the answer to the question of why Ridley keeps returning in almost every metroid game: He regenerates cells by eating flesh (doesn't matter what kind) so he pretty much will keep coming back almost every time (unless he's a clone, or and X parasite etc) He officially dies in 3 when he explodes after being overloaded with to much Phazon

Dark Samus didn't die because she was formed on Tallon IV (MP1) from the remains of Metroid Prime and genetic information from Samus' phazon suit, therefore she wasn't part of Dark Aether and was not destroyed.

(and no, i'm not trying to be a troll)

And theeen..the corpse was infected while in Cryo in Fusion, but that wasn't Ridley, it didn't bring him back to life it was just mimicking him.

Somehow, ridley was brought back to life in Super Metroid, THEN he was cloned in Other M, then he was killed by the queen, then they brought his remains to the bsl station, where an x infected him.

So you play as ridley and when you lose all health, you turn into meta ridley for like 30 seconds and come back to life. But only works once, once you die after you become meta ridley, your done. Until you restart at the save and die, then come back as meta ridley. Then you choose if you die when you become omega ridley.
