Nice Genesis pick-up! I only played Carmen Sandiego games on the computer and loved them!

I'm REALLY going to try and hold out until Uncharted 2 goes down to 30 bucks before picking it up. It's hard, with the first one being so fun, but I remind myself that 60 bucks is like.... 15-20 NES games and the urge subsides.

Well that's what I meant. I'll wait the year or two this one will take, or at least wait til it's 40 or something. I just don't want to pay the price of 20 games just to get one game that's not even going to be a very long one.

Also I want to know how they handled quicktime events in this one, cause they ruined the final boss battle of the first.

i have come across a few quicktime events so far but just a quick triangle press when an enemy got the upper hand. don't know how many more there will be. or if they will use em during boss fights.

I have other games to buy... And there are games I care more about anyway. Uncharted was only ~8 hours long...

60$ for 8 hours isn't exactly a good buy, when I could spend 2$ on a NES game and get MORE gameplay because it actually challenges me.

I don't pay full price for games that aren't either RPGs, Fighting, Racing, or FPS games, because they usually don't have enough gameplay to justify the price.

i hear ya. 60 for a game is a lot. this is actually the first time in awhile i bought a game for a full 60. i try to wait for a price drop before i buy em. haha nice, i remember watching it too.

I still need to play the first one. Missed out on a bunch of great games since I have been more into the retro stuff. I look at it like spending 60 dollars on one new game in comparison will get me a ton of retro stuff,lol. Have heard great things about both. The first one should be under 30 by now. May grab it soon. I used to watch the Carmen San Diego show all the time when I was younger.
