  • I envy those with such incredible talent and passion.

  • fake

  • @Neuschwabisch whats fake?

  • 3:52 almost paralyzed himself again

  • why is william bringing up such ignorant logics and opinions in this video? he's a fool if he didn't believe where we come from or what we believe in. Besides, if you really didn't believe in something like religion or afterlife stuff, why would you argue about it now? Proving your judgments? It's ridickulous.

  • "The Joy I get from Skiing? Yeah its worth dying for." - C.R. Johnson. He died skiing, but lived to ski.

  • @TheeGoldenChildren that was the very quote i had planned to post in the comments. sad story but its real

  • RIP!

  • CR is my favorite skier of all time

  • RIP

  • RIP dude at least you died doing what you loved

  • I'm not saying I know CR ( i really wish I did ) but I'm sure CR would have wanted to go this way. Its hard for us here still alive, but hes skiing in powder that we can't even imagine. SIP/RIP CR JOHNSON!

  • That is the most rancid "music" ever, and there is no way i mean that in any kind of positive way.

  • that skateboard shit is disrespectful to a legend who lost his life doing the sport he loved

  • Hes not dead lol, as he sais in the clip he is relearning after the fall

  • @4WayAudioinput he did...he had a second crash a while after this one and he passed away

  • @thefreeskier4life Okay... sorry then. Didnt know that, but the vid is a bit hard to understand :/

  • @4WayAudioinput He was 21 or so in this video.....he did in fact die at the age of 26 (5 years after the crash he's talking about in this video).....RIP

  • RIP. I respect the amazing talent and skill that these athletes have and their passion. There is often a misconception of real and perceived risks in life. In most cases knowing your own limits allows most of us to enjoy our love for our passions. However, with extreme sports there is little and in many cases no margin for error. Every individual has to assess the risks. Life can be fickle. Because we are a automobile society, driving is accepted, but there is risk involved every time we driv

  • we all know @adixon58 comment only has 8 likes cuz it has the word fickle in it

  • @willshakespeare2007 most of these people who are just arrogant idiots to you are standing up for what they love, CR and the entire sport of skiing, im not saying you shouldnt have your opinion, you should, but when you tell a bunch of skiers that their idol was an idiot, thats pushing it, and you should be ready for whats coming after that, i wasnt going to say anything but i couldnt stand seeing you act like you know what youre talking about

  • Hurtling thru the world at 100 mph, dodging stone walls, does look fun. If you happen to hit one don't call it a freak accident. An invincible human found out different. Kudos to the man for enjoying his life.

  • whats this song called?

  • whats the song called?

  • lol

  • this is the way he wanted to die...doing what he loved, sad to know that he knew he was going to die young with so much to live for...RIP kid

  • why such a great man had to die :´(

  • @Th3K55

    you dont know him

  • what is the name oh the song?

  • Sizzla life

  • willdest dreams Sizzla

  • @grosseginette1 SiZZLA KALONJI()The ONE

  • @Willshakespear2007

You wouldnt think that if u put on a pair of skiis and skied down a mountain

    It isn't just about adrenalin

its so so so much more than that

Please dont speak unless u can say u have experienced it

  • @WickedZZzY - Yes I have been skiing since I was a kid. I also scuba regularly and have done sky diving and rock climbing among other "dangerous" sports. What I wouldn't do is free dive with sharks, base jump, free climb beyond my ability or against the clock or ski in dangerous off piste areas or off a mountain. There is nothing heroic about risking your life for a cheap thrill. I stand by the fact that this is a cautionary tale to those that might do the same.

  • @WillShakespeare2007 i laughed so hard when i read your comment

  • The only people that would hate on him would be skiers or riders that suck. People that will never get to feel what this legend felt ripping the hill up!

  • thats fuckin sad RIP cant stop crying

  • como se llama la cancion de este video....?????????

  • alguien me puede decir como se llama la cancion que tiene este video...?????

  • I Hate It When a Famous Skie'r dies, It will realise me how dangerous skiing can be!

R.I.P We Will Never Forget You!

  • what a great skier we love you

what the name of the song please?

  • @WillShakespeare2007

In this life style at least....

  • @WillShakespeare2007

Where would we be today if everyone thought like you? This life syle is about taking risk and pushing your self further than you ever thought you could go. You would get no where in life thinking that way.

  • @MurderByNumbers1 - What?

The guy took chances with his life because risking his survival got him off. This is because when you do something life threatening you get an enormous adrenaline rush and release of endorphins (endogenous morphine) into your brain as part of the "fight-or-flight" response. This becomes addictive but "adrenaline junkies" have to take greater and greater risks to get off. This is not some great human accomplishment just an addiction that can kill you and it did.

  • Pretty selfish to go back out on the edge of life and death everyday.Would never do that to my family and friends,or God.He gave us this life as a gift. Not throw it away on some high he gets from risking his life.I loved my crotch rocket as well.Had one near death exp.. Was enough to get rid of it.Could see my mothers pain everytime i got on that bike and drove off. she never knew if i was going to come back. It's not worth dieing for.Nothing is besides protectiong your family and faith.

  • @wowzers69 Not to mention you can still ski and have fun without risking your life.He cared about the High of pushing the limit. Not sking. Now his friends and familly never get to see him grow old and have a wife/kids ect. It's sad sad sad

  • @wowzers69 you know.for him it was not just simple skiing as you can hear in this video..so its not selfish to go back to his dreams...skiing was the thing which gave him the biggest joy.hi would have thrown away his live if he not got back to skiing..it would have been selfish from the family if the would not let him ski again because for him it was the sense of his life..

  • @Almigurt6 I hear what you're saying. But you know what...it was absolutely selfish. He did what he wanted. That, by it's definition, is selfish. But there's different kind of selfishness. There's the kind where people take what they want and hurt other people in the process. And then there's the kind where people do what they want to do because it's who they are. Doesn't mean it's a bad thing. It's more about following one's path.

  • @WillShakespeare2007

Have fun dieing in your bed u fucking pansy

Your just pissed off because ypur balls are to little to do any of the stuff this guy did

  • when did he die

  • atleast he died in what he loved

  • what is the name of the song on the video?

  • Will Shakespeare if you wanna die in some bed with an old failing body, it's all you. But please don't insult this amazing person, you didn't know him so don't talk crap. He was a very good person, and died doing what he loves. And if you talk down someone religious beliefs it says more about your own insecurities than their flaws

  • Why you guys talking about it on a skiing vid. Seriously don't bring down this awesome video

  • I just like how this guy skied... so smooth.

  • i allway start to cry when i watch my biggest idols videos and film seggments... he was much to young to die :( for me he is still the best skier the earth ever saw... he spend so much energy to do what he realy loved: sking! shred in peace CR, up in pow heaven with shane and arne

  • At least he done most of skier's dream! BE THE TOP!!

  • whats the song ? and that guys amazing

  • INSPIRING, MY UNCLE BROKE HIS NECK IN A DIVING ACCIDENT 18 YEARS AGO AND LOST IT ALL MOVEMENT FROM THE JAW DOWN, I NOW TAKE CARE OF HIM IN SHIFTS WITH OTHER HOME REGISTERED NURSES 24/7. ITS NEVER EASY. BUT HE NEVER GOT TO WALK AGAIN, YOU DID, CONGRATULATIONS FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART

  • RIP BUD WE MISS U AND THIS SEASON WILL BE FOR U

  • R.I.P johnson we miss you

  • I hope I can die one day doing what I love.

  • clearly u didn't get the msg, don't take foolish risks with your life? go to 3min 9 secs and watch over and over again if necessary. "the joy I get from skiing... is worth dying for". He couldn't be happier with what he was doing, extreme athletes die all the time doing what they love, they know the risks. The lesson to be learnt here is to never give up, its pretty obvious he is saying that, "its to easy to give up on the things that are hard in life. " RIP CRJ.

  • I hope theres powder in heaven :) R.I.P cr :(

  • )=

    RIP..C.R Johnson

  • Isn't the message here - don't take foolish risks with your life?

I mean the guy seems like a decent guy but he also seems to be an adrenaline junkie and it led to his death. this should surely be a cautionary tail to other risk takers. If he had put that energy elsewhere he could have been a fantastic father and other genuine life experiences - not just thrills. Or am I missing something?

  • @easybutt0n354 - No thanks I'm straight, but good luck now you have publicly declared that you are gay on YouTube. I really hope that works out for both yourself and your boyfriend.

  • @WillShakespeare2007 Yeah you are missing something, you are missing that he loved skiing. Maybe he didn't do what you think is important in life, but he had skiing and he loved it. Watch this video again and see what he loved.

  • @bryankielcollege - I think he loved taking risks with his life. I know lots of people who love skiing but they do not end up near paralyzed and then dead. I mean he nearly died and I am sure brought heart ache to all his loved ones but then went straight out and did it again and was not a lucky causing devastation for those that cared about him. No man is an island. I don't want to be negative towards this person but the message here is not a positive one.

  • @WillShakespeare2007 The point of the video is no matter what happens this bad ass did what he loved. If you didn't hear at 3:09 he is willing to die for it. This is every ones dream is to die peacefully doing what they love.

R.I.P Cant wait to shred the pow with you in heaven maine.

  • @xXlegitlaxbroXx - I fail to see how smashing your head into a rock at high speed at the age of 26 is dying "peacefully". And no man is an island, choosing to constantly endanger your life and not learn from nearly being killed once and then killing yourself for thrill seeking effects others.

On another unrelated point, there is no evidence whatsoever of a "heaven" as you suggest. And much evidence that there is no afterlife. The guy is dead as he took too many risks and that is that.

  • @WillShakespeare2007 So what happens in the after life. Huh, What do you think happens when we die.

  • @xXlegitlaxbroXx - Why would there be an afterlife? We are just animals like all other animals on a tiny rock in a near infinite universe. There is no evidence whatsoever of any afterlife and these are just claims made in bronze age books. These books also make other claims that everyone now accepts are absurd and have no basis in known science. Why would you believe in heaven when all you have is a book telling you it exists?

  • @WillShakespeare2007 So what your saying is you don't believe we are human beings, you don't believe that there is any thing in this universe to live for. So how do you think we got here huh. Do you think we started out as little fish guppies in a huge lake. Well how do you think those fish guppies guppies to there. How do you think that pond got there. Huh? Please explain your beliefs. And don't you dare tell me how to live my life or tell me what to believe in. I believe what, you do too.

  • @xXlegitlaxbroXx - Believe what you like but there's not a shred of evidence for your beliefs. Even if there was a creator why would that mean there would be life after death? Where do you get the idea that you are so important in this vast universe that a creator has to make an eternal paradise for you? The idea is absurd.

And you are the one telling me what I believe. The purpose to my life is my loved ones and everything else that life offers. Not some half baked fantasy about paradise.

  • @WillShakespeare2007 Its not half baked there has been evidence they have found parts of the cross they have found the ten commandments they have found what they believe to be jesuses grave. SO don't tell me there is no proof of my beliefs.

  • @xXlegitlaxbroXx - Even if there was a grave for a man named Jesus why would mean you are going to die and then wake up and go skiing in some magical paradise? The man Jesus probably did exist, he was probably crucified and so the legend was born. This is evidence of nothing. How you can be a grown man and still believe in magic? There have been thousands of "Gods" in history and the one thing they all have in common is you need "faith" to believe in them - funny that.

  • @WillShakespeare2007 So you are saying that I need to believe harder than anything else. Well God says that all you need is to accept him as your lord and savior. I do no matter what any one says I will always believe in what I believe.

  • @WillShakespeare2007 and on your argument about God.....I believe in evolution and science (I'm not religious).....but, certain things in life have been pretty incredible.....divine intervention, who knows, but I will not discount the notion that some higher power MAY exist......I don't look down on people who are religious, either, although I don't believe that any of the religious books are actually factual...

  • @WillShakespeare2007 It's not for you to make that judgment and i think you missing a lot. I skiied out at Whistler for a few seasons with Extremely Canadian, best years of my life; who are you to decide what is or isn't right. Live your own life, stop criticizing what you couldn't or wouldn't do.

  • @KeelerMediaGroup - Instead of learning a lesson after a serious brain injury he carried on taking risks until he killed himself. So in MY OPINION he was clearly a thrill seeker that did not understand his own limitations and this should serve as a warning to others. Know your own limitations.

Now who the hell are you to tell me I can't have an opinion? Why do you think there is a comment section jack ass? Not so arrogant idiots like you can try to censor other people opinions?

  • @WillShakespeare2007 I think the guy knew that he could die doing what he did.....the point is that it was his life and he had the right to live it how he wanted.....Sure, I'd never do something so extreme but I've done some stupid things in my life and had I not gotten lucky, I could be dead 5, perhaps 10 times already......at least this guy was skilled and knew what he was doing. It just didn't go his way 2 times out of how many times?

  • @WillShakespeare2007 You are definitely missing the feeling he had killing it!

  • @skiingislife98 - Killing "it"? Don't you mean "killing himself"

  • R.I.P
