Awesome. I don't think the bass track is legit though. In the intro and hook of the 3rd verse, he has some octave jumps that diminish to the 7th on the second and fourth beats. It's very prominent and preceded by little gallops. Also, the picking is sloppy in places. It's probably a rough cut or had the jumps overdubbed later, but it's a little off to my ear. If it's fake it's pretty good.

you're the man!, I mean the woman!, I mean I don't know, but this is great. I always spent considerable time trying to make my ears isolate just what he was doing with the bass line and never heard it all. It's like a new look into his artistry. It's funny tho, his voice somehow sounded more mellifluous with all the other instruments swirling around it, but I have a whole new appreciation of his bass playing...so much more intricate than I could ever hear before...thanks, thanks, thanks

@salee320 I would imagine his voice harmonizes with the other instruments which makes it sound richer. He is a powerful and talented vocalist. It is amazing in music how everything works to complement each other. It is also possible this is a raw version before being heavily engineered.
