  • Everyone: Do yourself the favor of buying this album! I treated myself to the 'Steven Wilson - Grace For Drowning - Deluxe Edition (3cd + blu-ray and 120 page hardback book) available on Burning Shed ... When playing it, I almost felt I was listening to a KC album I'd never got hold of in the '70s, and that is not to disrespect SW in any way! A great musical journey!

  • how does he do this o.O Speechless..

  • The guitar parts starting at 8 minutes and again at 11 minutes into the song are insane and just plain mindblowing. One of my favorite songs just from the musicianship and talented prowess this song delivers.

  • Masterpiece <3

  • dear people... BUY THAT FRIKKING ALBUM OR LIFE WILL NEVER BE COMPLETE 8D!

  • With a stunning Theo Travis on the flutes and the clarinets!

  • Accidentally opened this video... Man, I have to listen to that magnificient album again. now.

  • Fuck this youtube quality im gonna go listen to the cd of this album. Everyone do yourself a favor and buy this album, its 10 times better than on youtube and your supporting Steven!

  • @ggorieu if you wanna support steven, and if you want real quality, buy vinyl...

  • @edwardrink85 To be honest, buying the album on any format – besides maybe an iTunes download – will sound of "quality" on most equipment. I find that its a trend among work that Steven has produced ;D

Yeah, I love the vinyl release and the realness and fullness of the format itself, but his CD and 5.1 mixes are nothing to knock down!

  • Listen to the final part at 18:45 and then listen to ''Close to the Edge'' by Yes, the bass line at the begining, sound the same.

  • @Matabi2 dude its sounds exactly like a part of Cygnus X-1 by rush! The notes just last a bit longer

  • Phenomenal work by Steven Wilson! This may seem random, but the main melodic theme that emerges around 14:40, and lasts before the chord ascending climax, is very Mastodon-esque. I am NOT MAKING A COMPARISON ARGUMENT, but i am just wondering if anybody else hears the similarities ....

  • Is this a rip from the surround sound album? There were a few deviations in the panning of instruments than the stereo mix, i can hear a lot more stuff in this one.

  • @TheSolarSix Yes, I downmixed the 5.1 into stereo before uploading

  • @Elanzer I see, sounds wonderful. I've yet to hear the surround mix. Thanks for your prompt reply, and things for uploading this. :D

  • genious.. geeeenious.. cat among the crows

  • Amazing
