Some people have a hard time. There is a learning curve to it. But once you get the hang of it, it's much easier than using a ladder. I am terribly afraid of heights, and I LOVE THEM!! I do it a little different then their instructions...I put up all the clips first, then I go back and hang the lights. I found it too heavy and awkward to do it all in one motion. Then, I can make sure the clips are secure. Stay up great in high winds. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

It's joke I'm taking mine back , good luck trying to screw the pole to a hanging clip two or more feet hanging above your head, Its doesn't work.
