Here in the catskills for the first time in a lot of years the lakes have not frozzen enough to do any ice fishing . All I can do is wait for warmer weather to trout fish as I do not know if the bite in 35 degree weather.
@ncrdisabled Climate change has effected the ice fishing scene in many areas. Sometimes we have no choice but to wait for spring. Thanks for writing & good fishing!
Hey there Ivo, i have been watching the thundermist videos for a while and i really enjoy it and hope to see more exellent content! I would like to see more of Antonios fishing. Maybe you guy could keep every video with the same format as this one. Divideing it between you and him. Greetings from a Swedish fisherman!
@lilaapan91 Great to hear from you in Seeden and thanks for the feedback. Antonio is a certainly a regular with us and will be in many more videos.....thanks again for taking time to write and hope you have a great year on the water in 2012!
@fbrown172 It was cold but surely being inside of an ice hut is much better. The wind is the main factor. If the wind is light then it's not that bad. Thanks for watching & good fishing down in Florida!
Hey Ivo, I know you're not using the viper spoon in this vid but I really want to know if the Viper Spoon is effective when casted. Also, how should I retrieve it once casted? Thanks and tight lines!!!!!
@pclaxer18 The Viper Spoon will make short casts when bait is added to give it weight. Make the cast, allow to sink for a moment, then slowly reel-in. Thanks & good fishing!
@pclaxer18 ...one more point.....when reeling in the Viper Spoon, keep your rod tip pointed down toward the water, as this will keep it in the strike zone longer :)
love the ice fishing videos...keep em coming!
