Dream Drop Distance storyline is par with the numbered title like Birth by Sleep, Kingdom Hearts, and Kingdom Hearts 2 and that makes it a main game. Dream Drop Distance will lead to Kingdom Hearts 3 because both gameplay and story is connected to Kingdom Hearts 3.

@jsh020 No, this is a main game. Its story is on par with a numbered title. It's a direct sequel to KHII.

Versus XIII and 3D are made by two different teams. I really doubt it makes much of a difference in their development, in the technical aspect.

It has been confirmed that opening the door of sleep will free all the worlds trapped in sleep, which makes it almost certain that the Xehanorts, those other hooded figures, and possibly Vanitas will return.

As well, it's confirmed that certain Org. members, -

To do that they first need to unlearn all they know (like usual) and this time they do that by getting younger as they enter the dream realm. I wanna finish Sora's story before I turn 30, I don't care about the shit they'll come up with after him. I'm happy I got to see the conclusion of "Dragonball Z" but "Pokemon" is still going. And I'm lost with that show, Ash needs to grow up, and it needs to end. "Digimon" had a good conclusion for the season 1 and 2 cast, the only ones I cared about.
